Have you looked at all the parameters re flame running feedback.if it has been enabled because there is no feedback circuit it thinks there is no flame and turns off the torch. If it also stops running the shape program that could be another problem. I am not familiar with this problem. Look at the troubleshooting guide.

Ok to move is software It starts to move after the time you set for pierce is reached. There is also a delay you set for auto Torch height control. Feedback to signal that torch is on is turned off and not required.

I was unfamiliar with the V3 Cannon . But did the research. I see where you are coming from, with petrol detonation (hypersonic) was hit and miss. I did move onto differant configerations and using HHO which gets consistent Detonation. It may be interesting to try a projectile with HHO but could be a bit dangerous like a pipe bomb.

Buy pass the water flow switch. If still not working check all connections. Still not working may need new control panel.

@mr.manny_s5506 cut the two wires going to it strip of some insulation and twist them together and test

First do the checks on the water flow switch, and door closed switches. As these will cause the laser not to fire with the control panel.

@@Graemecns I do have water running through it, not sure if the switch is having issues. I’m gonna replace it anyway because it is a bit old

@mr.manny_s5506 you can buy pass the switch and see if the tube will fire. It is a process of elimination.

Software is designed to work with hardware so it would depend on if your laser mother board. If is listed in the list of compatible boards.

The usb is to connect to your computer. You must have the right driver for your software.

Usually there are lockout switches for the lid being closed and the water flowing. Check these switches or buy pass with a wire.

@fingerstylesabahan8517 air assist is not required for the laser to fire. You have to check the switches for the lid and water flow have not failed. Or try and bypass the switches.

@fingerstylesabahan8517 no. your electrician should be able to work it out. You can look at some of the older video on my channel which should help.

I could not say and it may be something in the software stopping it firing. The soft ware may be looking to ensure the lids are closed and the water is flowing! Your software could control power setting and pulse timing.

your laser power supply should a have a test button on it maybe a green button which should fire the laser. I think it will still fire even when you don't have a complete safety circuit (Water on Lid Closed). You should be able to test the output from your power supply with a meter. if you have the correct output voltage you may have a faulty tube.

You should be able to just install the corel laser software and then put your USB key into your computer to use the software. You will also need Corel Draw.

@@Graemecns Really appreciate, I have installed Corel Draw 18 and the printer engravin.. working with RD Work 8 but I need to engraving directly from Corel, I don't have the plugin for corel

@@chrischristian8153 corel laser may only work with the M2 nano mother board. If you have that you should be able to download the soft ware to test if it works. But you will need a USB key to be able to output jobs to M2 nano board (you can buy a USB key on alibaba.)

Not an electrician but it should be OK if you can get the scale range.

The gas in the tube will usually be light up with a purple beam when it is firing, but you cannot see the beam when it exits the tube.

I'm working on a Golden Laser that has 2 tubes that is 80 watts each, I can get the heads to move but can not get the tubes to fire, and the LCD screen some put a burn mark in it,so it is hard to tell what it is doing

@@RCjunkie there should be a test button on the laser power supply you should be able to test there.

I looked all over the power supply for the laser there is not test button, I would send you pics of it

The tesla detonation engine/turbine seems to be using a big reduction in diameter to increase pressure. I did not have any promising results with the car turbo. The tip jet turbine I designed seems to work well except the high temperature can cause it to get tight and stop spinning. When I build a new one it will be designed to spin a 300watt hover board motor I will have longer arms which will increase the torque with a reduction in rpm and using tapered rollers to adjust clearance to increase clearance to compensate for temp increase.

@@Graemecns rather see your existing 37mm engine as a DDT (deflagation-to-detonation-tube) and mount a 75mm pipe to it. Don't use a tapered fitting .. use straight connector for increased turbulance. Make 75mm pipe about 1.5m long. Then go greet your neighbours for the last time ;-) These supersonic pulses are not effectively converted to rotation as the shockwave bounces back when it hits an impellor or nozzle.

@@levettp I see all your videos are 12 years old the last one seems to be a 300kw monster did you discontinue your project/research? did you find that you could not convert the power to rotation because of the shock wave reversal you mentioned? What was your initial aim in building the DDT? Is the aim to promote and hold the detonation inside the tube, a lot of the detonation seems to be when it expands in the air. i have just made 3 converging diverging nozzles with a step thinking it could promote detonation at the Tips of my Tip jet turbine.

@@Graemecns Sadly our research project funding stopped. Best project I ever worked on! Initial aim was to detonate various fuel in a PDE. 300kW was roughly based on a 100mm tube running at 24Hz if I remember correctly. I did generate slow detonations with this ... made a massive detonation pulse that you could still feel at about 30m from outlet. Could do this only outdoors as workshop roof would probably got damaged as the outlet pressure pulse is spherical. Possible applications were drone propulsion with e.g. diesel and power generation with pulverised coal. To create rotation it appeared best concept to have a few PDE's mounted tangentially to an impellor but I never built a prototype. Don't use converging nozzles as they reflect shockwave back into engine. Diverging nozzles increase thrust (ISP) for air propulsion. You will notice that best efficiency is when your total PDE volume is filled with 30% air/fuel and the rest (air) is your working fluid (bullet). Your idea to inject water is good but don't put it in fuel mixture. Just increase the mass of working fluid with the water/steam. If you overfill with fuel, the engine start making more noise than doing work.

@@levettp thank you for your response sad to see the demise of your project. I am building my project on a budget in my spare time using common size black steel pipe. PDE s for hypersonic missiles is what most of research seems to be concentrated on. I have taken on board all your great suggestions. I have used double helix spirals. 30 degree converging nozzles. Some of the simulation I have seen show detonation initiation with a converging diverging nozzle with a step which I have just built to try. With the pipe sections I can reconfigure it easily to try differant combinations. I have reconfigured it to the best combination I have had so far and will be trying it again tomorrow. The tip jet turbine is useful to check changes in rpm and power output for tuning.

Maybe the b2 is a better option for compatability.

@@Graemecns The B2 is the same firmware as the M2 but the stepper motor chips are set to half. So each tick is actually half of what it is in the M2. So the max speed is less but if you're doing very fine engraving on a medium that can take that, it would matter. You can set the B2 speed/board settings in either K40Whisperer or MeerK40t.
