@@BestHotelReviewChannel The one at ParkRoyal Langkawi, they receptionist took 45 minutes to handled us despite requesting for an early room 3 months prior to our holiday with an acknowledgement :( They direct us to the in-house restaurat and kindly gave us a 20% discount on our bill to compensate the issue. When we travelled to Pan Pacific Suites in KL, both of our stays took us about 10 minutes for the check-in. Huge difference lol

Totally agree that Kempinski Capitol is Top 3 for me!

Actually we almost had the chance to review Kempinski, lol but life and choices didnt make it come true. But seems like many people are still raving on it haha, will review it once we get the next chance!

@@BestHotelReviewChannel it’s worth the money spent! We stayed there 10 times less than a year with different type of rooms and suites. To be honest we visited so many times mainly because of the hospitality and services, the human touch!

Capitol Kempinski is certainly above average with a great brekkie that I happily paid for, especially the breads. Hope one day Lance and Rose will review Capitol Kempinski :)

Hi! Firstly, welcome to Singapore! Both hotels are indeed along the same road, V Hotel Lavender is situated right on top of the Lavender MRT. Hotel Boss is slightly further down (but sheltered) but is located nearer to Kampung Gelam area, aka Singapore's Muslim Quarter. So its filled with shophouses that has loads of food! Below V Hotel Lavender has a couple of stores as well for food but not as much as Hotel Boss. Hotel Boss is alright for us, a tad bit small but never stayed at V Hotel Lavender before, but both seems decent! Hope this helps! And hope you have an awesome stay in Singapore!

Hey, just drop them a message on FaceBook for their rates on the dates you plan on staying! From experience, their website usually seem to have higher rates than others. Hope this helps!

Have not managed to stay there yet! But in terms of location, definitely good because its located in Chinatown and relatively near to the MRT! But it may not be sheltered so do take note if it rains.

Hello! 3 people might be quite tough. TBH, even 2 people is just nice, but we went without luggage. If we did have luggage, might be a tight squeeze. But there are rooms for 3 people, so if yall are relatively small size, and dont mind small spaces, I think that is fine. haha Hope this helps!

Hello! Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. Tbh, I am for Jen Shangri La Orchard Gateway instead, not the Tanglin one haha. But Orchard Gateway might be more expensive, but location is probably one of the best. If over budget, Oasia would be ideal, if possible get the club room! Really really nice, we actually stayed there haha. For the other 2, location might not be so ideal in my opinion! But did a video for Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay as well, can check it out for your own perspective of it! As for Penang, I have not been there for awhile, but for Langkawi, best to stay along Pantai Cenang, thats the main street. But regardless, you are able to grab to the other side of the island easily. Also did 2 hotel reviews in Langkawi haha. Hopefully in Penang soon! Hope it helps! And Thank you once again!

But for Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay, you mentioned in your review that the location was not good. From the maps I can see that it's right next to Clarke Quay. Is that not a good area? I'm confused which area to stay in :) Also looking at Hilton Garden Inn in Little India and Four Points Sheraton.

From my recollection, we did not pay a deposit to the hotel! And yes, usually deposits are one time payment and will cancel it if you dont use it after check out!

Both hotels are very budget so both are quite similar. I would prefer hotel 81 dickson as its closer to the shophouses with good food!

hi there! usually she cross-check different booking platforms for price comparison and also add stackable discount codes. agoda tends to have cheaper rates for vietnam hotels. as for this particular stay in Del Rey, our dates were quite flexible (we stayed in HN for 3 weeks in total) so that might have helped in choosing which dates with lower prices too! :)

Sounds like you were hoping for a 5-star breakfast and a pool with a view! Maybe next time, aim for a hotel that serves breakfast in bed! hahaha

hi there! you can just DM them via their facebook page and ask for the rates during your intended stay! otherwise most hotels also have a 'Zalo' contact number (vietnamese preferred app) so you can text them too - that is if you want to download the app haha! however i'm not sure if the rates will be different if you are not a local/speak vietnamese. hope it helps!
