don't go into the caves while this is happening, it's not worth it.
What happens if you DON'T intervene : (warning : i HEARD about this while playing IITPP, I've never seen it, so it might be false) The magma will flood topside, and then the whole server is screwed. Notes about the new update: old "DIY lava escape thingy" shelf no longer works. Sitting in cafeteria or anywhere in main facility will still let you survive. If you're not sure where to stop magma, look in the parking lot. You'll see a little building opposite towards the main Topside building. Then, you'll have to activate the pump next to the building and then press the button in the building. Alr, sorry for making this long, i hoped this helped in case of future magma events.
I think the magma just stops at one point and the music just keeps playing in loop until you open the pumps. Maybe I’m wrong.

@@GxPro66you are correct. I stayed in biodome watchtower and the music looped before the people did the pumps (the magma stopped rising)

At the end, when we are talking to the director of Pinewood, it is possible to hear his announcement system saying that there are unauthorized biological forms in sector C, so probably not even Pinewood and we survived.

Core game. In a nutshell: there is a reactor, and you control it. You can blow it up or something else.
Also it's built inside a volcano (idk why)

What’s new exactly? Well… You actually HAVE to evacuate sector C now as all the safe spots in sector C are no longer usable. The magma flooding event now requires player intervention.
