1:27:00. Primal trust was created in 2020 (and she had a program before that called Creating Calm) yet in the interview she says PT was created two and a half years ago. ??

I do like Cathleen and her program, but listeners should know that All programs over-represent their success because they are only measuring those who stick with the program. For example in PT, only those who finish level one fill out a progress form. Those who were not having success who dropped out earlier would not be recorded. A different program, by Ashok gupta, actually published their study on people who completed three months, which is accessible on their website. When I looked at the numbers, half of the people in the study dropped out in the first month!

Just pausing to say, I have Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder since birth ~ although symptoms have increased dramatically after age 30. Considering this program if I could ever afford it - all my disability benefits go to renting a place that is probably filled with mold :/

@@LouBlueable yes thats true but you miss a key component to the healing process which is the community aspect if trying to put this all together on your own, from experience the online community is perhaps one of the most vital things that create the healing and transformation. There is no doubt that the people who benefit the most from the program are engaging with the community aspect it provides, for me the study groups and recently joined the man club have been essential, additionally access to all the live classes to see others and participatinng in regulation with others is really motivating and holds you accountable.lastly i can almost assure you that you wouldnt get the same level of education on the nervous system anywhere else which really allows one to understand why one is stuck in chronic illness, cell danger response and chronic stress loop.

@@cameronsterls7983 I understand where you're coming from, and I think in general, for the majority of people, being part of a community is very beneficial. It can make a big difference having a good support group, but I think this can be achieved without paying a lot of money if the will is there. The main reason I pointed out that you can do it on your own and most likely be successful (if there is enough self discipline) is because these programs are not cheap for people who don't have that much money and most likely have spent a lot of money on different treatments already. It's important to know and feel that you're not doomed just because you can't afford certain programs or educations. Self learning is very effective these days when so much information is so easily available, compared to the past.
