Another great interview. You brought all the right questions and insights to his work, and to me, highlighted how someone with no background in the sport was able to capture the essence of it and Jim in his work. I don’t think anyone else could have done the film without bringing a lot of the same over asked questions into it. Seeing the story told through his emerging understanding and respect for trail running was key to asking all the right questions and letting the story tell itself. All of that is captured by you in the way you draw out the more interesting and important questions to him. As always, tremendous work by you to bring the story behind the story to us…and fn congratulations on that Cocodona run by the way!

Based on that criteria zero chance there is a better trail town/ state than Seattle WA Name me a better trail specific group than cowgill, what about trail focused group Seattle running group, name me a better trail only running store than seven hills. Name me better access to trails you can RUN ALL YEAR, diversity of terrain, plush forrest, canyons, mountain volcanoes, city run ability, over 800 trail races in the state, plenty of professional athletes, high level amateurs training with CNW/Cowgill, brooks, REI, Nuun, Oiselle etc major metro..handful of vert series, cheap affordable sub ultra summer series with cougar mountain trail series going on 20 years!!! NWTrail runs focuses on urban trail races. Seattle WA trail running EPICENTER of the world. jurek approved

I think the vast majority of consumers much prefer the subtle marketing that was present in the film. Just enough small hints of the focus product or company will spark curiosity of the consumer and intrigue them to check out the company in a retailer or go to their website. It’s smart. Also I think consumers like to see the product used in real world scenarios. Watches, shoes, etc. gives them confidence in the product.

Look man, if the diet works for him, great, and he can interpret the data on sports nutrition however he wants. However, what he said about the environment needs to be fact-checked. Monocrop agriculture is quite bad for the environment, but he implied that plant-eaters are the ones responsible for that. In fact, the majority of corn and soy grown in this country (the crops that blanket most of the Midwest), are grown for livestock feed. If people ate plants directly, we would require A LOT less of these monocrops. Jeff says he grew soybeans on a farm in Missouri, so surely he knows this!? So why the lies man?
