Plinky... For starters, it's not plastic. It's a metal alloy called Zamak. I own one in 32 S&W. Once I worked on the timing, the grips, and gave it a real good cleaning using frog lube, It has been really reliable and accurate. Basically, like anything else it needed some work due to the age. So I would disagree when people call it the Clerke Worst...

The 250 is fun at the range and will definitely work. I would never choose it over a 365 or a 320 though.

The p250 is underrated as a firearm can be. The city of Milwaukee finally called it quits on the p320 last year after too many accidental discharges. The predecessor to the p320 was the p250 which remains superior to this day.

It's just a sign that it's well broken in 👍 some of them don't come out of the box this way but all of them eventually do develop this. In fact you would much rather it be loose than overly tight

I wanted a 45 acp, and my local dealer had just what I was looking for a Sig P250 compact 45 for 450. After buying it, I found it was a modular firearm and the serial # is on the removable trigger assembly that can be used on several kits, I found a 9mm subcompact kit for 299, and it's my favorite carry now.

I own the ruger wrangler and have no regrets

I've had the P250 for a good while. Hated the trigger and I put a flat adjustable trigger in it and it made a HUGE difference. Love this pistol.

I am glad I found this video! I just purchased a Ruger pc 9 carbine and am looking for a companion pistol to share mags with it. I am told the carbine is compatible with both the Security 9 and SR9 series pistol magazines. Would the Security 9 Compact mags be compatible with the carbine too? Also, are the magazine releases on both the Security 9 and Compact swappable for a left-handed shooter? Please let me know the answer to both questions. Thanks.

I have three Rough Riders, and a Barkeep, and all four will full cock on the third click; the cylinder locks on the fourth click. I don't know why Heritage allows this, it's obviously not right. But, I advise Heritage shooters to make absolutely sure the hammer is pulled *all the way* back before firing. Even Heritages in gun stores do this, so it's not a one-off thing.

All I know is I changed the one i had for the daily use which was a Glock for a Ruger security 9 because I find that work better than the Glock plus they come with safety
