Great idea, but do feel like the pass-thru is a massive oversight, especially for the types of jobs I am handed blackout on. Delighted to see some innovation in the space though, and the hardline connection is ideal. Hopefully they or a third party have a dongle in the works with a 90 degree usbc connector that could connect to the back of the iPad and well-placed charging port built in (if I’m being greedy some form of mag-safe style power connector where I can walk away from the charging position in a rush and not forget to unplug the charger….). Maybe there is even space for Blackout iPad cases with built in battery and some additional connectors if you’re looking to branch into hardware Jeff! 😉

Why not just call the app Blackout Next? Having the same name as the legacy app but no backwards compatibility sounds like a really bad idea.

Had two of these installed outside for a few nights. Caught a few showers overnight, and both needed replacement the following day. Do this at your won risk.

Is it possible to drive the communication from the AKS to the SATELITE (host) and further ( to SATELITE Cliets) via a WIFI router ? So that you have mobile device at your belt that is just an acces point to the DMX gateway ? Or is there any other solution to have multiple universes done via AKS with a set of Satelites ?

The big one now has got to be an oops , back type button if this will be possible?
