I would rather see multiple reps in good form than a single rep in crappy form. That was not even one good rep. Lower the weight, get some good reps properly, and never drop back.

I couldn’t bench 185 until I was 17. Then five years later I hit 315, 8 years after that I got 395. Now I’m old 45 and past my peak. I get 275 on a good day. Keep grinding young fellas

Keep grinding man. You will make your way to it. Slowly progress. I can do 155 but it took me 7 months to build up.

A reminder. FOOD is everything!!!! Ive been playing football and wrestled as long as I could in America. Strength, speed came with the right food and rest. Before that, I was just lifting and so active that I would just be SHREDDDED @ 130-150lbs. I was soooo skinny but my frame was oddly wide. Once i started eating well. I turned into a brute lol. Like my 170-180lbs was strong enough to bully 200-230lb OL/DL. Haha keep eating. Some of you youngsters workout SOOOO Much and it's all for nothing cause you're drinking soda and eating chips. Zero hydration and not enough protein to recover. So you're just staying the same size and barely increasing strength lol. WHen you eat correctly, every SINGLE intense workout that makes you sore for two days will give you some gains. With the right diet. I was hitting PR's every 3 weeks. Don't forget food!!!!! FOOOOD!!!!!
