Go for it! its a neat camera with lots of history.

I have two of these for different lens mounts for my Z mount and the inside of the adapter is flat black, it's not smooth, its ribbed like. But I used a flashlight and I don't notice any reflection. I think these are pretty good adapters, I never had an issue with them. I compared the lenses mounted natively and adapted and I couldn't tell much difference. But I am not sure about the QBM to L mount though. Hope this helps!

@@nerwin Yes, I noticed on their main page on Amazon that they coat the inside with non reflective. Since QBM to L is less common I couldn't buy K&F. However K&F have tiered out their adapters so that only the most popular adapters are the good ones now like how they used to make all of them. Maybe a blessing in disguise to test a different company if these Pholsy are better because they only have one range all the same build. I have ordered one. Next thing to see is if they wildly shorten the flange distance. K&F are often 0.1mm or 0.2mm short. That may not seem like a lot but it throws the lenses distance readings totally off.

@@nerwin By the way. QBM is from Rollei's 35mm SLR cameras. I've ordered quite a rare Schneider Kreuzach Xenon 50mm f1.8 in QBM because the M32 version is impossible to find. Rollei had a lot of lenses from Schneider and Zeiss which are actually very similar the Contax Yashica Zeiss. I have two of the Contax Zeiss lenses but now they have been hyped to insane cost. Rollei QBM is very under the radar and Schneider are underrated. A few of my favourite lenses are Schneider. I even prefer them over Zeiss but they didn't make that many different lenses and stopped photo lenses in the 70s. Their last versions in the 70s are spectacularly good. Now Schneider only make cine lenses. As for Yashica. A brilliant lens is the little 5cm f2 Auto Yashinon. Ken Wheeler (Angry Photographer) caused that lens to become very hard to find but it's available again.

If you want Contax Yashica Zeiss. The 28mm f2.8 Distagon and the 50mm f1.7 Planar are still good buys. The Distagon is a very good lens for landscapes. Very vibrant colours, especially greens. The 50mm f1.7 is their budget 50mm but very good. A little soft wide open like all Planars but beautifully smooth rendering. I think this lens is the best bargain lens there is considering the quality. The f1.4 variant is too expensive. The trouble now is that you can't build a set of Contax Yashica Zeiss because some of them are insane cost. Zeiss Classics are the way to go to build a set. If you get the ZF2 versions of those and have a Nikon, they are chipped so supply info to the camera if you have the F to Z mount adapter. The Classics are not cheap but if you consider the insane initial cost, they are now cheap.

@@avcle it's a really solid camera and often overlooked. I mean the F100 has some features than the N90s doesn't like selectable focus points and the ability to use AF-S in all modes along with VR whereas the N90s is limited in that regard. The biggest issue with the N90s is the sticky back haha, it's harder to clean than the F100. Something to be aware of with the F100 is the plastic door latch, they break. The N90s is metal 😎 The one I showed in this video I just sold it recently. I probably should have kept it but it wasn't something I was going to use much. It didn't deserve to sit in my drawer months at a time. Enjoy the camera man!

They are insane..not long ago you could get one in mint condition for $100. Now people want $300 or more and they have the plastic latch issue too. On this N90s it seems to be metal. Congrats on the Z6III. I couldn't justify to upgrade mine.

It's not eBay you need to worry about, just the people. Find a reputable seller, like me, and you'll be fine. eBay has really good policies. I buy and sell a lot on eBay and rarely have any issues. But it was just a suggestion, wasn't telling anyone to buy from eBay, there are many second hand market places out there.

Yep, that F4 had such a satisfying sound.

Reliability is true. I mean this camera hasn't been powered in since the 90s and it works like new. It may not be as nice as an F100 or an F5, but it's heck of a lot cheaper haha. Kind of excited to run some rolls of film through it! Thank you for commenting, I appreciate it!

@@nerwin it is the the F100 of previous gen. It’s what pros used as a 2nd body to F4, F5. The body pro-sumer or enthusiast used who didn’t need the extra of the F4/F5. F100 was on same level just 3 yrs later & we would never get another pro-sumer body F-801 was its predecessor. The Baby F4

I use a Duracell 28L, it's 6V and fits perfectly. Meter works fine, the shutter works normal and it's accurate. I don't believe the .2v extra from them matters much. It might affect the CDS cell, but the timing of the shutter shouldn't be affected. However from my testing so far, the meter in mine is within 1 stop..I'm happy with that.

There was an extreme amount of extra people in my small state, our roads aren't designed to handle that much traffic density. I had a great view at home so I didn't need to go anywhere to view it but would've surely liked to have enjoyed it with some friends rather than alone! But it was quite an experience. I'm sorry that the clouds ruined your view, it did started to get a little cloudy here but it wasn't enough to block it and it cleared just as totality hit. Sorry that you had to watch my really bad vlog video 🤣 - wasn't intended for CZcams lol. But it was too long for Instagram stories/reels or shorts and I don't have TikTok so figured I'd just post it here. Nice to hear from you Dmitry!

All good I think its an interesting topic for anyone when there are big events. Photography/Video of the event vs just being there. Found it nice having NO pressure with having results. I did take 1/2 snaps with the phone.

@@DmitryKoupriyanov I did the same, I didn't want to deal with the camera gear. Recording a bit on my phone was more than enough to document the experience.

When I had the X100V, I tried cheap hoods and it bothered me enough that I ended up paying the premium costs of ones from Squarehood. Much better! But I don't shoot Fujifilm anymore however it is nice seeing Squarehood branching out to other cameras. They even have nice hoods for Ricoh GR cameras now.

​@@nerwinyes, but they don't have good lens caps for their hoods and it's a shame. The lens will be covered with dust after some months of use without a cap.

Glad you enjoyed my review! I should do a review of the film camera and share some photos from it. Waiting to finish up some film to get more develop so I can share color film instead of just b&w but I haven't been too inclined to shoot with it lately.
