This Gem PK4900 it s one of my favorites absolutely..it sounds melancholic and creamy... yes it could reminds sometimes to the Synthorchestra..but it has a widest sonic palette then the farfisa..it is full of sweet spots

@@Napalbe Per il momento ho smontato la scheda di controllo sezione percussion,sperando sia il solo pot del volume,,,,ma temo di no, 250 condensatori !! 😱Mi piacerebbe poterla riparare perchè è in ottime condizioni per il resto...magari ci sentiamo, se è troppo difficoltoso ripararla meglio forse lasciarla in mani esperte ..

si é molto difficile diagnosticare un malfunzionamento con queste tastiere..potrebbero essere o i condensatori come qualsiasi altra cosa..perché utilizzavano componenti custom e ora di difficile reperimento...fare molta attenzione quindi! per qualsiasi cosa scrivimi pure..puoi trovarmi su Facebook Alberto Napolioni o napalbe@gmail.com ciao Luigi

Yes the Polychrome is an awesome machine ..and like other italian synth it has a unique sonic character..with a lot sound modulation possibilities..a joy for any creative musician or sound designer... yes unfortunately they are vero vero rare to find ...also here in Italy nowdays 🙏

@@Napalbe The meaning of the word "video" in latin is "see" when it's a verb and "spectacle" when it's a noun. If someone makes a video and we need google images to see what the video is (not) showing us, then the video is kind of useless, isn't it? Unless we want to see the musician's hands. Those are clearly seen in the video!

Yepppp... here it is called "Touch Brilliance" This provides 3 aftertouch settings to control the Chorus Section and all the tone colours for Electric Guitar, Brass, Reed and Strings.

Hi Ricardo i had the Sk20...but yes the Elka despite having a widest sonic palette..it sounds amazing and unique. sk20 has common sonic palette and you can find good vst can emulate it..so me too decided long time ago to sell it..no regrets at all... size is even a little smaller then sk20..around 3 cm if i remember well

be careful..try to find one in very good conditions and above all serviced...cause there are very hard to find chips inside it..if something is not tested well..these chips can fail after long use...and they are almost unfindable nowdays or lot expensive...

you re welcome mate! thanks for having appreciate my demo video...yes me too the first time i had the lucky to test one of these Elka Twin when i saw that there no were any good videos on internet I was speechless...😮 then i knew why..cause it s a rare gem to find one..above all in a fully working conditions

Another Elka owner here! I haven't tried SK20 but I had SK15 and Elka sounds so much fuller and richer. No comparison. Totally amazing! Sound is even richer (but different) than Logan String Melody 2 which I also have. You can combine A and B with strings and detune + BBD chorus for absolutely huge wall of sound. Other preset sounds are also great, I particularly like organs and guitar preset. They all give different flavour and are very well voiced. It's very well thought out machine with endless sound possibilities... And the keybed is absolutely great. Well made machine! I also got mine after watching this video. It sounds every bit as amazing as here - you won't regret it! Reliability: Originally the phaser wasn't working in mine but I managed to fix it by replacing CEM3320 chip that is used here to generate the effect. Luckily that's a chip you can get pretty easily.

You ve already replied to your question...🙃 exactly...strings sound a lot better on the Elka...but the organ sound and mono section of the Composer is better... they are however very different machines for me... the Elka Twin with its onboard phaser, and other fx modulations, can do a lot more sonic explorations for me

Yes...i know the Hohner p100...the piano section is very similar..i.agree! but this one has more sonic capabilities...other then rhytmn section 🤟🙏

You would need a time machine and back to that past moment to bring with you that Elka! Now is rare founding one in good conditions..and it has not only value but above all sounds amazing
