quanto spazio occorre dal disco al telaio o al sensore x poterlo montare su un mozzo mavic. grazie
Hi there, there needs to be a minimum of 6mm between the disc and the sensor.
Kompliziert
Perfecto, se monta así de fácil como en el video y ahora es una maquina nueva, gracias./Perfect, it's assembled as easily as in the video and now it's a new machine, thanks.
Just waiting on this to be delivered. Is there any precautions to take when cleaning the bike after a muddy ride?
Not for rear wheel motors
Some of this can be used on Bosh Performence CX gen2 engines. eBike HaiBike S Duro Full Nine 9.0
Buongiorno é compatibile con haibike all mnt 3?
Hi there, we will need to get some more information to check this bike. Please send us an email at nlscomponents@gmail.com, and we can check it out :)
Buongiorno quale devo prendere x un haibike all mnt 3? Grazie
Compatibile per vivobike vf20h ?
does the speedi work on emmo urban t ebikes (a moped styled ebike)? It typically can go up to 45 km with the speed limiter off, I am trying to see if I can boost it to 50km + with something like this?
what are the dimensions…how wide & thick?
We have 2 main sizes and 2 others, 62x7mm is most common, 66x5.5mm is the slim unit. The other 2 sizes are smaller for specific bikes. There is a nice chamfer on the outer edge which allows more clearance where it matters. Cheers
@@nlscomponents thanks for the reply, i’ve sent you an email asking about the Gen3 Norco Sight/Range VLT fitment. JG
Work with Heybike 27.5" Race max model?
Does the speedo and milage remain accurate?
Because this is a mechanical device, it effects both the speedo and milage, lowering each by 33%
Hi I have brand new 2023 Trek Fuel EXE 9.7 and my stock weel rear is Rapid Drive 108, 6-bolt, Boost148, 12mm thru axle For speed shimano. Do you think this will work? SPEEDi for Trek Fuel EXe 9.7 / 9.8 / 9.9 (2023)
Yes. The 54T vs 108T is on the drive side on this hub, the disc side is exactly the same which means this does not affect the SPEEDi.
@@nlscomponents ohh thanks notice 54 and 108 and not understand it first. I placed a order. Its gonna be great thanks
Does the 2022 reign e+ 2 Speedi fit the 2023 reign e+ 2?
Generally speaking no, depending what rear hub is installed, make sure to compare the example picture with your rear hub. We have the specific 2023 Reign E+ 2 available on the website now.
Please made it for mondraker
You moved your finger twice around to move the magnetic half way so would that not make it 4x faster? Your website says its 1.5x faster.
Must be an illusion, definitely 1.5x faster.
It is not an illusion, but the author rotates with the inner gear of the planetary wheel and not with the outer one. The outer one is firmly connected to the wheel and it spins. The inner one (the one the author turns here) is firmly connected to the axis of the wheel.
Nice part but having hard time getting answers to my emails.
Sorry, I've been flat out at the machine shop.
@@nlscomponents Please help me out getting one of your Speedi and install it.
For Mondraker Crafty 2023 Bosch Smart ??
I see you didn't get an answer. He bought? Does it work well on Smart Bosch? Without an error message about the manipulation of the speed sensor?
Wee bit of verbal communication to go along with it would have been nice
Would this work on a carrera vengence
If I use this in conjunction with the speedbox 3 will my bike fly?
Haha! I like the way you think. But eventually the motor will run out of power to assist you through the wind resistance, and you will run out of gears, I have found most motors are good for about 50kph - 30mph, which is right where SPEEDi cuts out, at this point you are usually out of gears also.
Can i fit it on a giant delivery e+? The magnet sensor is near the disc brake and magnet on the brake disc, it had 6 bolt brake disc.
Send me an email from the website and we can look into this with you.
can it be used on any e bike I have a Bianchi shimano hubs ?
As long as there is enough room to fit the unit between the disc and sensor/frame, Yes, SPEEDi doesn't discriminate brands ✌ Email me to see what we can do.
@@nlscomponents already sent an email with specification Bianchi Omnia FX
Money well spent, thank you Neale my Focus Jam2 6.9 is alive now thanks to you.
Just ordered! 🤘
what is the material of the components? plastic or metal? i mean the box..it seems fragile
The Backing plate and Cover are made of Acetal/Delrin which is a self lubricating engineering plastic with a very good strength to flexibility ratio, meaning it does flex a lot before breaking, and is strong enough to stand on when assembled, the magnet is marine anodised (twice as thick as standard) 6061 T6 aluminium for corrosion resistance and durability.
Do you have to take the disc brake bolts off when installing it? Because when you took it off, you just pulled it off without taking the bolts off.
@@Shawn-in-da-Canyon Good spotting, you are correct, the Backing plate is a press fit onto the heads of the bolts, so you 'can' leave the bolts on, but it is more difficult and is likely not pressed up tight to the disc, because of this we recommend removing the bolts and starting from the beginning, this ensures the backing plate has pulled up correctly onto the disc.
Do you have a video of how much more speed it gained after relocating the magnet?
Are these available for Orbea Rise 6bolt disc with a Shimano EP8rs motor
Yes, I have sold a lot for this bike with great results, get in touch nlscomponents@gmail.com
Could I make this compatible with a trek powerfly 7 2019 .
The 2019 Powerfly FS 7 has a spoke mounted magnet whereas SPEEDi requires the sensor to be mounted inside the dropout near the axle. If the sensor is able to be mounted near the rear axle then it may be possible for it to work.
I have an NCM T1,000 e-fatbike, if this part is compatible I will buy it, but I would also need that large circular wrench.
The SPEEDi is designed for mountain bikes with mid mounted motors and pedal assist, which have a disc bolt mounted magnet on the rear wheel for the speed sensor to pick up. Your bike has a rear hub motor which has an integrated speed sensor, so SPEEDi is not compatible, sorry.
@@nlscomponents I want to cry!
@@nlscomponents I just removed the controller, I will see if there is a thin red or white wire to disconnect.
Just want to say, you make it pretty hard to buy your product when you don't even answer emails.
Hi Lionel, I have replied to both of your emails within 2 days and haven't heard back, it must be getting lost in your emails somewhere?
@@nlscomponents seems weird mate as I sent the second one from my email not your webpage contact form. I will send another one when I get home from my Hotmail. Cheers.
@@lionelcook8522 Hotmail? WELL THERE'S YOUR PROBLEM 🤣🤣🤣
same here. I have sent 4 emails with no reply
Got the same problem. I really want that product but no answers...
Can this be done without thr bottom bracket tool?
The correct bottom bracket tool is highly recommended so that no damage is caused to the nut, as there are fine details that the backing plate uses to mechanically hold itself to the nut.
@@nlscomponents thanks guys appreciate the response 👍 I'm not very good at this stuff so just going to watch each step about 5 times as I do l😆
@@jbloggs4161 haha no problem, the instructions are also very informative and the most up to date nlscomponents.com/pages/support
@@nlscomponents thanks again Is there a specific bottom bracket tool or are they all the same? And really sorry to be a pain, but how do i ensure I'm tightening to 40nm?
@@jbloggs4161 16 notch 44mm, Either purchase the tool that allows the use of a torque wrench, or tighten it with the BB spanner to very tight, you will feel the retaining notches in the nut start to engage, go to around 5-10 clicks past touching.
Anybody tried this on heybike? Or lectric?
Does this work on Fiido bikes?
How many miles does it take with that device?
Great question! I have customers report over 10,000km and still going strong which is very impressive, like everything mechanical it does wear out an need replacing, but I am very happy with it's durability and I'm sure you will be too.
does it need to be a mid-drive motor to work? Would this work on a Lectric XP 2.0 or the Lite? And for the Super73 s2, Zx series ? I really would like to try this out.
The SPEEDi requires the speed sensor to be mounted close to the rear axle to pick up the rotating magnet. The unit requires enough space between the disc and sensor/frame to fit between - our units are 62x7mm and 66x5.5mm. The Cover also needs a flat end cap to press onto as seen in the video @ 1:45.
Хрень за дорого!!! Износится за пару тысяч км!?!!
Can you send me the STLs so I can 3D print my own :)? I think this is neat and clever, but the price is way too high. I think you will sell way more if it was USD25. People are wondering why you don't grease it to stop the noise, I assume that's because you would not get erough friction on the driver cap. But if you seal that area off with an O ring then you could grease the hell out of it.
😆 Yeah just give me your business he says
compatible vtt decathlon electrique EST-100
So I assume my speedometer will not read accurately with this installed? Is this available for the Himiway Cruiser and the Ariel Rider Rideal?
if the police know this brand, then just take a look at the rear wheel and the tuning is obvious! this is not a safe way to ride your bike, unlike tuning modules inside the engine.
Does this work for the Aventon Aventure?
💪👍🏁✌👍
Why isnt it made out of anodized aluminium for that price lol...
Can't you set smaller wheels in setup menu? It should recalculate speed to be smaller.
Great point. Some bikes you can, some bikes you can't. The ones you can usually only allow a small amount of deviation, this is usually to allow the use of a smaller 'mullet' rear wheel. It does not make a significant improvement of top end speed like the SPEEDi does.
dp they make these for jetson ebikes?
We ride our bikes through all sorts of muck and mud and oil and grease and water with grit and sand but we still don't touch the brake disks 🤣🤣🤣
What a genius bit of engineering.
Can't you just clip the limiter wire?
