I’m a enthusiastic guy all about Seadoo watercrafts and I enjoy working on them, currently I have a 96 seadoo sportser, 2000 seadoo gti, 93 seadoo xp, and a newly acquired 95 seadoo xp which I am in the process of putting it all back together since I got the engine disassembled and in boxes! The wrenches are not number 8 and number 10 wrenches, they are 8mm and 10mm wrenches. They are metric wrenches 😂. The locking nut on the right is called a hex jam nut if you are wanting to learn proper terminology...

GUYS MAKE SURE YOU BLEED YOUR PUMP WHEN YOURE DONE; if you dont want to go through the bleeding process run your gas-premix and eventually itll bleed itself
Hey do u think on a 2004 seadoo gti oil pump needs to be bleed?
You did it wrong. The throttles should be completely closed. The slow speed screw unscrewed. You set the pump to the marks and then screw in the throttle screw by 2 revolutions. The oil pump on the marks does not dispense oil. If you float a lot at slow speed you will damage the engine.
does the pump gear have to be indexed/timed when reinstalling the pump?

This video is so amateur, I wouldn't trust it. The instructor has no skill with wrenches, no skill editing, so how can one trust the advice? Plus, you can't see this stuff when the motor and carb is in the hull.
If your so worried and want to fact check my "amateur" skills then go download the manual and it will say the same thing. I've been learning along the way and that was only my second ski, I am now well over 10 skis flipped and sold and not had one failure.

Going to have bad crank seals if you continue to use tcw3 oil
Why is that? Tcw3 is recommended for 2stroke watercrafts
That’s bs if you don’t have rave valves tcw3 is what to use. Now if you have rave valve engine don’t use tcw3.
Go ahead and use it then! When your crank seals go south, remeber how BS it was...😁

Any Idea how much oil the injection should use? I understand your video shows the pump is functioning but how do you know the flow is correct? I know if we were to run premix it would be 50:1 50 gallons of gas to 1 gallon of oil. Should the oil injection be close to this as well? Recently I measured the amount of oil to fuel consumption ratio and calculated it is running roughly 100:1 with the injection system. Just curious if you have ever looked into this on your ski. Thanks
Oil injection atleast on seadoos goes from 100:1 at idle to 40:1 at wot
