Lmao 🤣 i just did the starter today, i didnt have to remove any subframe bolts, didnt have to lift the engine, didnt have to take off that steering rod nothing. Just removed the bolts and turned it the frame under the starter is shaped just like the starter if you have it turned a certain way and it just slips out 😂

So no lie, mine did the same thing. I found the plastic piece is a part of the front grill that the tab/clip is broken and it has blown forward. You have to just put the plastic piece back in place to the left. Didn't take much to put a hole in mine too. I'm watching your video Brevard the mechanics want to overcharge on everything. I have quite a few of these on my car. None of them take hours to turn on or off. I use the starter as the kill switch, because gas takes too long to cut off. Also is the tracker fails, it'll fail to the "on" position. Meaning it gives the relay power to cut off your fuel pump. But if the tracker fails, it'll turn off, so your car will work again.

Pull wheel go in from the side behind the right swing arm. 10mm L key and a 10mm offset wrench loosen off the top one. Then raise the car up remove lower and wiring. Lift makes the job hard this is a do it on the ground job on a 911. 1 wheel removed

No special tools.......just a couple "special" mechanics

Hey, I have this exact same situation going on for my 335d, dpf sensor seemed to disconnect and burned through the wire harness at the exact same area. I tried to take out the wire harness vis the 2 10mm bolts in the back but I cant seem to unscrew them, and I really dont feel like taking the engine out. Could you explain to me how you took out those 2 bolts in the back? was it just luck or something specific I have to do? Let me know, thanks.

What fixed this issues? Cable replacement or adjustment?
