Fully illuminated LEGO City Passenger Train! | JuMa City Update 23
For one thing, I PRAY this beauty doesn’t end up in one of your crashes. Second thing, did you simply get the pieces online according to the instructions? Third thing, dude eventually you gotta make a B unit and a vista dome car. I feel like that would truly complete the whole train. Edit: hang on, did I see the Polar Express in one of those sidings???
First of all, thank you very much for your long comment! 1. The Santa Fe will never be involved in any intentional crashes. Don’t worry ;) 2. When buying the pieces I switched all the Light Gray and Pearl light Grey parts to light bluish grey. I also swapped dark grey with dark bluish grey. Then I designed some custom doors for the carriages cause the original pieces don’t come in light bluish grey. I also did some minor tweaks to the design in a couple of places because some pieces don’t exist or are simply too expensive to buy. The last thing I needed were some Stickers. I was able to find custom replacement sticker sheets on eBay. Note that this is still NOT a cheap train to buy, even with all of these changes. 3. Maaaaaaybe at some point I will look into extending the train further. I know there are some great designs out there for additional cars and also B-units but for now I will keep it as it is. It‘s long enough for me and not worth the price. Especially because I only see this train in it‘s full glory when I set up the tracks, which is like once every couple of years… That‘s kind of right. The train on the very left siding is a modified version of LEGO‘s Orient Express. But the custom locomotive is actually the same model that pulls the Polar Express :) Full video on that train will hopefully come out next weekend. Be on the lookout for that!
I love this vid But It would be so much better if it was moving slower because the rods that turn the wheels were moving so fast
Thank you! Let’s just say it‘s an express train so it needs to go that fast hahaha
just wondering if it is cheaper to get trixbrix curved tracks or use straight tracks with 2x2 corner pieces?
That’s a good question. Without further research I can’t give a good answer. I guess it really depends on what you wanna do. The long curve variant with the 2x2 corner plates on one side and the 1x2 plate on the other side makes a HUGE circle. It‘s way bigger than even the biggest trixbrix curves. When it comes to the smaller variant of long curves (1x3 plate on one side, 1x2 plate on the other) in comparison to R120 curves (kind of similar size) I would ALWAYS go for the R120‘s. They are just working way smoother and are better looking than the curves made up of straights.
What’s the maximum number of cars it can pull?
Depends a LOT on the cars and on the tracks (many curves or mostly straight/long curves). I think I once tried how much it can pull a few years back. I think it was able to pull all these freight cars, my ICE 2 cars and my TGV cars. So that would be seven quite heavy additional cars to the ones in this video.
Bang bintaru
Oh! Do I see it correctly? You are using straight tracks to do wide angle curves? I haven't seen that before. Interesting!
Partially, yes! Look for LEGO long curves on CZcams! There are different designs out there. Makes running the trains at full speed possible. But you need a lot of straight tracks and of course also a lot of room…

Hallo kawan salam dari indonesia❤❤
i love you videos keep it up!
Thanks man!
Prime is it for the first
Can you tell me where did you get the hoses and gate pieces for the front
I buy all my pieces from BrickLink.
@@jumabricks is that one big hose or multiple small ones
@@theoturbo2752 Many small sellers with shops. Works kind of like EBay, just without bidding. Watch a basic tutorial on CZcams to find out more.
@@jumabricks no I’m asking if the hose piece specifically was one large piece or multiple small pieces
@@theoturbo2752 Ah, I got ya! I used the exact lengths of hoses that are recommended in this instruction video: czcams.com/video/z9wSs4PVAcg/video.htmlsi=dMjpAGakOs4XmtgP
You can also superglue the bricks to stay
Can you do one with the flying Scotsman plz🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Promo-SM 👉
This hurts a lot because those trains probably cost more than my truck lol, the club car on the metroliner is like 250 bucks by itself! And it got double tapped! Still awesome though!
Don’t worry, usually no LEGO pieces are actually damaged during train crashes like this one ;)
@@jumabricks well that’s a relief!
What are those train numbers?
The city is looking fantastic! Loving all of the lights.
Thanks a ton!!!
Incredible 😮
Thank you!
The skyline Looks wonderfull, but the avengers tower is to small😊✌️
Thanks so much!! Yeah, that’s right. The Avengers Tower needs an upgrade!
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Poor dog
So i motorized mine but am having problems with it starting. Once it’s moving it’s fine. Any tips? Very little friction in the drive wheels it’s in the top motor sections
Hmmm… I haven‘t had any problems with the drive train. Check Batteries, check if all motors are properly connected, check the axles and gears. That‘s all I can recommend.
Cool! Waiting to see them all running
It will happen soon!!
everything but the tgv...
Отель
Where do you get the grey tgv locomotive instructions?
Are you going to get the Lego orient express
Definitely yes! But it probably won’t appear in any videos cause I can’t find any time to set up a big train layout and run it. Maybe I‘ll be able to run it in my LEGO City for a video… We‘ll see!
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
audio on your video is horrible
Omg😮😮
Fake
What exactly is fake about this? You get exactly what the title and thumbnail suggests.
Bro, I saw a big boy
Look at my channel, there are multiple videos of the Big Boy.
dam 60051 made tgv fly-
the second one is the best lego train ever!
really liked it!
Thank you very much!!!
Nice vid! Good progress
Thanks man! I appreciate the comment <3
That… was so satisfying to watch! Beautiful work sir… Thank you 🙏
Thank YOU for watching and commenting!
i love those kinds of long smooth turns! i got the R104 from trixbrix too for my layout! did you know the switch plate is removable the 1x3 on the other 1x3 plate that moves for the switch
Thank you for your comment! I also love having some smooth long curves! I always wanted to have something like that in my city. I know that it‘s possible to remove that piece from the TrixBrix switch but as I mentioned in this video I won’t end up actually using these switches so it doesn’t really matter for me ;)
On that double crossover piece you could try to multi track drift with it
instructions please
2x speed is so satisfying
My childhood I watched these videos :'(
I hope everyone is ok on the trains
Yeah, they‘re fine!
Looks Good, Abo is there👍😁
Dankeschön!
