I have been there last week - horrible traffic in the main road, nearly impossible to cross it on foot. Shops close as early as 4.30/5.00, cafés not much later. When you walk the side streets, it feels like a cemetary... A had a chat with a beautiful 90 year old lady (this was my only "fairy" encounter) and she pointed at some buildings (a former textile factory, a former rubber factory), now all dead or housing pizzerias. Ah, yes, there is even a tourist information, with such an idiotic bloke inside, rude and dumb, that I stepped back out as quickly as I could.
If you went on a Sunday, everywhere has to close by 4pm. it's the Law..Pretty places are always busy, and usually have crossings nearby.. of course the buildings are used for something else these days, as for calling a idiot, rude and dumb I really think there's something amiss with yourself....
THATS JUST PARKLAND, OR SOME TOFFS YARD
There are several vlogs on Bradford on Avon, this is the best. It helps of course, to have good weather too.

Cars roaming in these romantic English villages stain their beauty. Is there a village where cars are totally banned?
The people that live there still have to go to jobs, school, etc. Usually there is next to no public transport in these places.

Such a beautiful place to live, these villages are so blessed to live there. Such a shame about all the traffic though.
This is an out of the way village. I live about 9 miles from here. The irony is the traffic is caused by all the vlogs and articles about how this is a must-see village in the Cotswolds. It's the tradeoff I suppose. I wouldn't want to live there as the roads aren't suited for so many visitors. Yet, the money from the visitors help keep the place up. That's the compromise that the village has with the outside world. I suppose it's the same with any place like this around the world.
There's far too many cars on the road, an average of 3 cars per household is quite ridiculous. Something needs to be done about it.🚗🚙🚙🚗
