Good Evening Ranch Off Road 6/22/2024 - Intermediate Trails | Bronco Raptor, Sasquatch, Land Rover
First trip to Good Evening Ranch in Canvas, WV.
- Bronco Raptor - stock
- Bronco Sasquatch - 3" lift, 37's
- Land Rover LR3 - 2.5" lift, 33's
Trails in the video were intermediate. Still learning placement of the BRaptor, getting used to it's size. Before the next trip it'll be getting Foutz Motorsports rear differential and control arm mount skid plates. Those seems to be the only two places I had issues with. I'd like to be able to go back and tackle all of the intermediate trails at stock height without issue. Difficult trails would require at least 40's and a few inches of lift, extreme trails are basically rock buggies only.

Bronco Raptor RTI Rating | Better than the best 4-door Wrangler?
zhlédnutí 1,7KPřed 3 měsíci
I've yet to see a published RTI rating for the Raptor so with the help of Rokisky's Service Center and their ramp I found out! If it wasn't meant to go airborne and had different springs it would have done even better. The front still had a hair more travel left but wouldn't compress any further given the static load. I failed to mention, by having a higher rating with the larger tire, it goes ...
Bronco Raptor First Off Road Trip Thoughts | 3.0 Ecoboost Catch Can Results
zhlédnutí 4,4KPřed 3 měsíci
First trip on some fairly tame trails in West Virginia around Elkins, Davis, Thomas, and Parsons... more overlanding than off roading. Excuse the little mistake in the first clip as I attempted some parts in 2WD, plowing the front end where I didn't want it to go. It showed the benefits of the extra width! - Canaan Loop - Douglas Road - Government Road - Shavers Fork My main goal was to get an ...
Bronco Raptor 3.0 Ecoboost J&L Oil Separator Install
zhlédnutí 161Před 3 měsíci
In this video I will be adapting the J&L Oil Separator Company's Bronco 2.7 Ecoboost oil separator to work on the Raptor's 3.0 by making custom length hoses. I misspoke about the "heat shrink ends". They are just beauty covers for a cleaner look. As tight as the hoses fit on the fittings, clamps are not necessary. To mention on the filters directly on the valve covers,I have seen concerns when ...
Complete Auto Detailing Product Lineup - No BS products

There are a ton of options for each of these products. They work well for multiple application and are cost effective (reason for so many Adam's products - gallons go on sale quite often). If anyone out there has a suggestion for a replacement of any, let me know! I wouldn't mind trying an alternative to CS3, always looking for something there that adds even more silica with each coat, although...

Looks like the red Bronco Raptor is kicking but on this trail. Looks like it was fun there
Man that with a solid front would be wild
And would make it shit for desert running which is what it’s designed for.
Nice👍!!
Where at exactly in West Virginia were these trails? Do you think a full size f150 raptor could handle them?
Between Elkins and Parsons. Yes a Raptor could do them, actually 2 were on the rally earlier this year. The first spot in the video I believe they scraped a little bit and that’s probably the worst spot from a wheelbase clearance issue. A set of RPG collars and 37/38’s would be a good mod to ensure you’ll clear everything well.
runnning an oil catch creates backpressure in the crackcase, wich in return will prematurely wear out many components inside the engine, seen many gaskets blown out way before their time is up because of the oil catch can. If you are planning to keep your vehicle for long, you are better off blasting the intake valves every 100k in an ecoboost engine.
This is incorrect. A setup that would create this condition (pressure) would be installed incorrectly, failed product , or become clogged somehow. Coming from 20+ years of running catch cans or vented valve covers. 230k 5.0 and 100k 3.5 with the exact same setup as this one. What you may be seeing is a failed PCV valve on a boosted vehicle causing the crankcase to become pressurized.
What is your opinion on the hard top and the way the delay on the glass sliding down when you open the door? Does it feel like either will have issues?
I don’t have any concern. Mustangs have been like that since S197 and a lot of BMW’s are as well. Never had an issue with any of those. The only time you would need to be mindful is if the window is covered in ice preventing it from going down in the winter months. I personally never had that be a problem.
Nice Braptor 👍
I want that shirt
Heel and Toe Apparel
Great vehicle! Great video!!
very informative. keep up the good work!
The gray mini-cart … which model is that?
alvorog 3-Tier Rolling Utility... www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHQPMPL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Please give a garage tour! I want a very similar setup!
enjoy the video.
Have you found that your hose spigot has a small drip/leak out the nozzle handle while in use. I have the same one and it leaks while under use. But stops when you shut it off
Give the hex behind the knob a snug. The packing just needs tightened. From what I’ve read they are all like that to some extent since it’s hard to gauge how tight without being pressurized. You may need to retighten over time as the packing ages.
The water puddle are not draining down into the slopes of the grates.
Do you have a poker table?
That's a sweet ass garage set up, I'd love to see the rest of the house layout.
Love the shirt! Haha impressive garage, I’ll be by to see it sometime soon!
Great job keep it up!
Sounds like a good trail to test equipment 🤔
LOL. Sorry I yelled at you. ❤
Good meeting you! Glad you guys finished!
Nice meeting you as well!
dude what ever happened to the mustang?
Whoever was in that corvette is a prick!
zero v6 mustang update videoes? and no comments aloud. what happend to v6 stang?
Awesome video need more of these !
Awesome video need more of these !
That vette did NOT want to be pasted......lol. vette had those straight a ways but suprisingly the sho was giving him a bit of hell thru the turns. 👍
I know this is old, but were you running different tires ?
No, stock Eagle F1 tires.
Looked fun THe car looks like the balls. Real Sleeeeeeperrrrrrrrrrr!
Not bad for a family car
There's no such thing as Stage 4 for our Gen 4 SHOs from Livernois, so is it 93 Octane tune and V10 version or which tune? Very nice run and sounds good, exhaust is my next mod.
There was back in fall of 2012 when I purchased the car. I believe after revisions to the original tunes started they changed their naming system.
very impressed with the SHO!
What exhaust are you running?
Corsa
Your the only other sho on here doing donuts
How do you like the H&R springs. I really dont want to sacrifice ride comfort but have been considering getting them
The SHO is a sports tourer. Its comfortable on long drives and is a sports car wearing house shoes.. u dont know how awesome it is until u hit the gas. I love my 2011 SHO.
I just purchased my 2010 yesterday. Roughly 80000 miles. It is parked next to my Fiesta ST. Very pleased. And it massages my ass.
Best SHO donuts on CZcams, finally someone with some balls
how do I shut traction control off completely.?
JR250R lol
Performance All unless you have performance package, you can't.
VTEC kicked in, yo!!! ....and i got passed by a Taurus. HaHa awesome video!
The capabilities of the SHO are amazing considering their weight and the power plant being a twin turbo V6. I just bought a 2014 SHO and am looking forward to seeing what it can do with a few mods. Nice driving!
They are very hefty cars that are amazingly capable. I love my 12 sho, its deceptively quick and amazingly comfortable for the long road trips with the active contour seats. I made the mistake of getting a genesis 5.0 V8 sedan first because of the price difference between the sho and the gennie but in the end i wound up with a sho anyway.
Ruby Red 2014 i am old as dirt the galls even look at me love the car but the cops love me more cause they have them
I have to disagree with HaB22. A stock 4gen SHO will walk a stock C5 & older Vette in the 1/4 and past that (with the 130mph speed limiter turned off in the SHO) A C5 Vette will slowly catch up until them both top out at around 160mph. I'm not nocking Corvettes, I've owed a Vette, Camaro, Eclipse GSX, Prelude, 95 SHO etc.. all good cars. But the sheer comfort, amenities, and tire shredding power and ease of more power with the 4gen SHO. You can pickup 75hp with just a tune. Livernois motorsport has put a 13 SHO into the 11s without weight reduction.
Sweet!!! Nice driving!
Was that a Tim "The Toolman" Taylor modified weed whacker you drove by at 5:23?! Damn!!
that stupid purple car with the big fart can in the back, holy fuck! lol
What tires did you have on it?
The corvette has the SHO in a flat stretch of road but the SHO seemed to do better on the turns i would be glad to own either of them really :)
THAT SHO IS A TRUE SHOW STOPPER
Not that I'm saying a SHO is superior, I've owned many other fast cars, but you should educate yourself on your car. Mine with just the few mods has ran a best of 12.8@110. On a cool day with another tenth off my 60' it should run a 12.6. With downpipes another 2013 is running a 12.2@115. So far the fastest ecoboost SHO I know of runs a 12.0@117. Just the addition of H&R springs has made the car handle very well. It will definitely surprise a few on a road course and drag strip.
I like how quiet it is...just out for a cruise, haha.
Did you passed a corvette??? Wow!!! I made up my mind, I'm getting a sho!!!
