Marty could sing Sinatra's kind of music. But Sinatra could not sing Marty's kind of music.

Carl was real! He sang about real every day experiences any of us can have. This is what makes real country music powerful. I wish today we had artists like Carl, but I guess modern people have changed in their hearts...sadly.

So many great songs. For me, my favorite Marty self-penned song is Pride and the Badge. All the songs he wrote are great. Lennon and McCartney even had a few that were so so.

Part of the downfall of country music was calling this country. This song is not just country music, it's more like Nashville honky-tonk pop music. Very little to do with country music, that's a lie.

Seem strange to day how far apart we are today in the 1960s living in 2 ups 2 down small house's how people really cared for other's help each other's. Borrow a cup of milk sugar wee bit of tea &ask nothing in return maybe iam getting to old ideals moss side mcr. Rusholme mcr 14 . Let's be guided by our kindness within us and sometimes let the goodness out at times.
