Plog Statements for Contrabass Trombone or Tuba
Хорошо играешь!
very good player on the other side: is this music? so much kreative energy, somehow waisted in this project
me a junior in high school doing this piece for a solo competition
As a bass trombonist, I’m in awe at the combined sound of the bass trombone and tuba! Literally one of the best sounds of that kind of heard in a long time
:59 is literally perfectly in tune
0:59
Some intonation issues and note splitting but damn the sheer volume!
Tims sound is just plain spine-chilling! What a powerful, and gargantuan sound! I personally love having more low end and Tim is just the kind of guy to give exactly that!
Damn, I wish I could hear more recordings of Tim Buzbee! This guy registers on the richter scale everytime he smacks a pedal note right-side up!
so high qualirty i can see all the pizwels
Man, you were always good but your tone is just amazing. Great work sir.
Nice consistency and tuning :)
It’s me samantha
Hello daddy I’m your darter
true fact- i’m their child.
lol thats my trombone teacher
I Love you’re singing daddy
0:30 amazing bass trombone
This was amazingly good and the tone and intonation on that tuba player is superb 💯
Great
Tougher than it sounds...had the pleasure of performing this several years ago. Takes some work. What a fun chart though :)
Lol
Worst composer ever.
james meador is my band teach de zavala middle school
manuel Villanueva is this the same guy?
😂
Very good!!!! Please, where can I buy this song? I want to buy digital score, because I lived far away, it took me a long time to get to my country.
Those triplets !!
Great playing by both musicians of a fine composition that makes demands of the players without having to rely upon unorthodox sounds of the instruments--other than the extended range. Tim probably chose bass tuba for clarity's sake (and because he CAN play that low range on bass tuba), but I'd rather hear the full warmth of a contrabass tuba which would highlight the contrast between the two voices.
I personally found this to be a very musical performance, especially around 1:25 with the soaring trombone lines, which was countered by an appropriate mix of death tuba and virtuosic low register playing.
This sounds more like Sonata 3 not Sonata 2
Absolutely Phenomenal ! Tim Buzbee sure puts on a show. Very nice
I too prefer this on tuba, but this man did an exceptional great job on the Bass Trombone! The internet is filled with this piece on Tuba, but I know many Bass Trombonists will thank you for this excerpt! Thank you for sharing!
who the fuck disliked it? Darth Vader himself?
I've got an international Music Company New York edition of what they say are the first three sonatas, but their 2nd sonata isn't this one (marvelous sound James!!!) My one is the one in G. Which one is that otherwise titled? Does anyone know? Thanks
David Singh my original is also different. Probably different arrangers, because there are multiple versions of this piece.
q genial
That is a Meinl Weston 2182
mother of all pedal tones
Very nice playing! Impressed with the pedal Eb at 4:17
this is sonata No.3 just an FYI But great tone quality i really like listening to this!

I played that in 6th grade last year and isn't it supposed to be an octave higher?
Excellent film. Really like CZcams because of this sort of stuff... My step brother was formerly bullied. He explained he was intending to grow muscle mass. I did not believe him. Until in only weeks he packed on 40lbs of 100 % pure muscle. He used the Muscle Building Bible - Google it. He does not get bullied anymore. I actually signed up last week. See what goes on. And this mans emails are fucking cool!!!
wrong video boi
These movements cover a pretty wide range. That and the multiphonics makes it sound like a pretty tough piece. Buzbee's a beast of a player though
I almost forgot, the 6th movement has some insane high notes (4-6 lines above bass clef), but besides those 2 things, it's not so bad.
when i was a music major (i switched after couple years. still love music though) i considered doing this for my sr. recital.
I actually bought this, it's not too bad until the third movement, there are some huge jumps (some over an octave) that are difficult on my BBb Miraphone.
Glad I came across this vid. CZcams is great for this type of thing. My nephew used to be bullied. He stated he was planning to get bigger. I laughed at him because I didn't think he would.... Then within a few weeks he gained 40 pounds of absolute muscle mass. He used the Muscle Building Bible (look for it in Google). No person dares to intimidate him nowadays. :) I actually registered earlier this week. See what will happen. Plus the guys emails are fucking awesome!!!
man, try that on a cymbasso or a contrabass trombone. ;)
I'm still astonished by the third movement.
This song got me into All-County and now I'm trying out for All-State.
His tone is heavenly oh my god.
It is a f tuba. He is playing the BBb 4&5. Look closely.
