Germany has transformed from a conservative country into a country full of prostitution. Selling sex is technically legal in Germany although it is regulated at the local level. Local authorities/cities can place restrictions on how and where sex work takes place. If sex workers work outside of these restrictions then they are liable to fines and potentially imprisonment.

Me too, but as far as I know Germans dislike the first two verses because they may remember events of the past. And, hey, The term used for a word that is more than good = "Better". That car is more than good than mine ❌️ That car is better than mine ✅️

@@El_Gungas We hate it because the Nazis abused the first stanza of the Deutschlandlied. The poet Hoffmann von Fallersleben had something completely different in mind with the line Deutschland über alles. It was intended to describe the goal that Germany should finally unite and that this goal should stand above all others. The Nazis interpreted it to mean that Germany should stand above all other nations in the world. The new Germany, on the other hand, wants to be on an equal footing with other nations, not below and not above others.
@@ruhri0411 I think it's normal for a country's anthem to have nationalist expressions. It's unfortunate that nazis messed up this anthem.
I've always loved the music - and personally I liked the words from the previous version. Did it champion Germany "uber alles" - yes, precisely what a National Anthem is supposed to do. Always enjoyed my time in Germany and with Germans. Great people.

i saw this recording of this same march in the same place, but it was recorded in the early 1920s, i think 1921-24, and the dude giving them rifle commands sounded like a parrot. but i just love this one
It is foolish to be proud of the country we are born in, after all it was just chance. Instead, we should be proud of ideas, such as democracy, or a united europe!

Jahrhundert, d. h. aus dem Heiligen Römischen Reich, widerzuspiegeln. wo (1) die starken Wurzeln und Traditionen zur Grundlage und Inspiration für die Menschen werden, um ihr ganzes Leben lang edle Taten zu vollbringen, (2) die daraus resultierende Verantwortung, die deutschen Nationen zu schützen und zu vereinen, und (3) die zukünftige Hoffnung, danach zu streben eine wohlhabende, würdige und ehrenhafte Nation haben. In most cases, people love or at least know the national anthems of their Country. It is right this way. Other anthems are appreciated also in other Countries. As an Italian, I love the modern German anthem.
