Instant tears! We as humans are so blessed to walk the earth with the most magnificent creatures great and small but we do not deserve it! We destroy everything! I know this is to protect the species but it breaks my heart that they need to lose part of themselves just to be safe 💔

Okay so I looked up how a rhino would protect itself without its horns because Google is free. It says and I quote “teeth: Indian rhinos use their sharp incisors and canine teeth to slash and gouge at predators or other rhinos.” Also by charging, and use of their heighten senses of hearing since their eyesight is poor. They also use communication such as growls, grunts, squeaks, snorts and bellows to communicate danger to other rhinos or to warn predators not to mess with them. Lastly they take mud baths to protect their skin from sunburn, ticks and have a symbiotic relationships with oxpeckers! Lastly wildlife conservation groups like the one above use an antiseptic on the horn to prevent infection and they don’t cut down to the actual skull of the rhino which allows for them to 1: not get hurt and 2: regrow their horns and some sources even say that the horn grows back faster after being removed but that also is effected by the rhinos age as well.

It’s crazy to think that animals were doing just fine before humans came along and human intervention always has excuses. That’s his defense and I know somebody’s gonna come up with the best excuse but like no I’m sorry, at least trim it down and shape it into a horn again that way he still has something to defend himself.

People are just killing them to sell their horns. Such a dumb way to earn money. All they care about is money that’s all, they don’t think about the animals before killing them. If they keep hunting animals and killing then for their precious parts, they will be extinct soon.

This is so sad yes they are saving them from ruthless poachers but they are left defenseless in a wild environment...they might as well just run for their lives since they have no horn to protect themselves

Why don't you build wild life parks and secure around it? How that rhino will defend itself now? It's alive but it gonna die in wild.
