I'm not sure my kitten is too little at the moment but watching Billi, Bunny and now others I'm already communicating simple words for her to remember, maybe in the future, right now I want her to be a kitten first.

Have you considered Chinese market? I mean mandarin has no grammatical structures, and pets using FluentPet with Chinese words might sound much more like human speech for Chinese users.

I wanna teach my pet rats with this they learn pretty much the same way dogs do. How can I teach love you to them would I just repeat love you to them because it is more of a phrase

Not sure I like this approach. It seems to be assuming that asking for something is all the dog could communicate with the buttons.

I followed the instructions for about 2 weeks now, but my dogs are not even looking at the buttons.. it’s only humans pressing those buttons right now😭 Do you have any solutions that the dogs might become interested in pressing the buttons?

Mine did not come with a base. it has 10 textiles, 32 sound buttons. Am i missing part of my order?

If only the buttons would stay connected. Hard to teach when the buttons work 50% of the time. Another thing about age, puppies just want to play. Very difficult to get them to pay attention.

This isn’t anything but a lonely woman that gets toys for her pet that coincidentally presses buttons 😅

Pretty sure it would help a lot if you made the buttons sound like a human.

It’s cute to teach your dog to communicate what they want like go outside and walk and hungry. I don’t think you should teach her how to speak English English though. Their dog got so smart he became depressed.

For people who don't seem to understand how to train a dog how to emote using the buttons: It's important to speak emotions in context a lot. My dog knows these descriptors because when he's mad, I tell him he's mad or ask him why he's mad (although I use the word "upset" because he seems to prefer 2-syllable words). When he's excited and full of joy, I tell him he's happy "Look at that happy boy!" and things like that. I declare the emotions I'm observing. And I fully realized he understood them one day when he walked into the room, seemingly wanting to play and I just told him (without exhibiting any emotion), "No play, mommy is upset." And he instantly dropped his toy and came over to me to show empathy. So with the buttons, you could press the button that corresponds with the emotion until he/she realizes what those are there for.

My dog won't even look at the button, let alone touch it. She's smell oriented, not touch oriented. This was extremely a waste of money for me and am returning it. Before a bunch of holier-than-thou, fluentpet-cult, nutcases start blaming me for my failure to bond with, communicate with, or train my dog, you don't know me or my dog or my decades of experiencewith them in general. She's 10 and I've had my baby since she wa 8 weeks old. She's a shi-poo, 3/4 poodle 1/4 shihzhu and intelligent af. It's just the 2 of us and we spend every waking moment together when I'm not working part time. She understands hundreds of words, gestures, emotions, etc. You tell her to go get any specific toy in her toybox of 30+ toys, she'll dig through there and get that toy. She knows the names of all of them. We communicate eerily well and she picks up things very quickly within her boundaries. I know her. I also know that she's more smell oriented with some things. I can sit her in front of my 55" or the 65" tv and she will look at and recognize images on the screen like doggys, squirrels, birds, cats or whatever. But if I try to show her the same stuff on my phone or tablet, she sniffs and only sees the tablet/phone as the object of interest, not what video is playing on it. She won't even acknowledge these buttons, she won't look at them as something to interact with, just something to sniff. Forget about getting her to touch it for a purpose no matter how many times she sees me do it and hears what the buttons say. Completely not interesting enough for her and yes, there are dogs who simply could care less about these "wonder buttons", but no one can say that without being told how negative they are. If she doesn't want to do something, she won't 😂. This was an $80 fiasco and it's going back. My advice. But the extreme beginner kit with 1 button (might be 2 buttons, I can't remember). See if your baby even cares to have anything to do with it first before you spend tons of money on this. Practice with them in that 1 (or 2) button. You have 30 days to see if you make any progress at all and in 30 days, you should at least get them to understand how to press 1 button to communicate, if that's what they want to do. Sometimes, you'll find out that your pet doesn't have the same wants as you 😂😂. They have their own personalities and to blame a pet owner for a fluent pet failure is so stuck up and shallow. Yes, I'm talking to you--- I'm a 100 year professional trainer and magical dog whisperer and it's always the pet parent with the problem.... You must understand that every pet is it's own personality and this won't work for everyone. If you don't understand that, then I question your professionalism
