7:00 you purged the air in the line from the can to the gauge, but what about purging the air in the line from the gauge to the ac port? Are you assuming that the vacuum is still there? If so, I am not vacuuming the line, just needing to top off the refrigerant a bit. Am I correct in assuming this kit cannot keep air from getting into the system since it then requires a vacuum to remove air from the gauge line going to the ac port?

BE VERY CAREFUL when pulling out the alternator. The crankshaft position sensor wires are attached to the back of the bracket (the last bolt he pulled off the alternator before removing). When I pulled the alternator I ripped those wires out of the sensor and it took hours to get it off and fix.

Great Video! The channel tracks you have used seem to be rated for indoor use. Have you had any issues with them outdoors. Not sure how cold it gets where you are but here it gets down to -30C. Any concerns about the diffuser getting brittle over time? I can't seem to find any labeled "outdoor use"

On all of these single wire sensors. Short wire to ground gauge should go full deflection one way. Leave wire open it Will go full deflection the other way. This will tell you if it is sender or gauge

You should be reading the blue pressure line, not the outside pressure line. Your pressure for 134a is read on the blue line not the outside pressure reading. The colored lines match the color of the refrigerant.

You purged the yellow line by pressing the schrader valve at the manifold, but isn't there air in the blue line also? Shouldn't that be purged also, and if so, how?

You did a really nice job explaining this. Someone mentioned adding PAG. That is incorrect. Note to others, you do not put PAG in when recharging the system. It must be added when the pump is replaced or a line ruptured and oil leaked out. If that is the case, the system must drained first and the correct amount replaced. Adding PAG to a system with enough oil will tax the compressor shortening its life. It will also not be as cold.
