It's really opened our eyes to things we never knew were "cheap" cough cough internet access in France, and this video talks about the 6 things I was so surprised about that are wayyyy more expensive in Canada than in France!
Enjoy!

Most failures and loss on Investment usually happens when you invest without proper guide. It is best to have an investment *manager* who has in-depth knowledge about investing, to help you make money on your investment on your behalf.

EVERY country has had racial issues for ALL time. Humans are tribal. It’s in our DNA. If an individual has decided to withdraw their tribal instincts from their race, they’ll direct it elsewhere. For example, democrats hate republicans, snowflakes hate red necks, French hate the Brits, nattys hate steroid users, punk rockers hate metal heads. People just have no ability for self examination or introspection to realize that they’re always living in fear and… jealously.

I agree with you on everything you said 100% however I have a twist to add to that. My mother is French born my father is American born US army he show to France at the tail end of WWII, so I was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine at the American hospital that is now for the very rich French this is bad in almost every way possible! Some French think I am very rich or I am just a fake French guy trying to be American! I am 100% legally a duel citizen of both France and the States; I am an American citizen born abroad because my father live, and serve in the American army here in France which meant I got hate from both sides for being a sob Frenchmen or a sob American as if I came here to rub my richness in the face of the French people my mother is French I am at worst half French, but for some French people that is not French enough I did not ask for this; this was given to me without my permission, yet here I am! One of the reason for most of the hate is I do speak French, however my mother never tought me conjugations or verbs or masculine or feminine I learn to speak French with my mother at home I never did French school, but the thing is my American accent is next to nothing, and because I was born here I should know how to say vous sadly for many I don't and when I do I still get hate I would get Yankee Go Home yell at me in English this is what was yell at to my father after WWII! I am a half breed I understand this, but what do I do, it toke me 20 years to break this with most who hated me let me tell this was bad! I got arrested because the French police were sure I had a gun somewhere hidden on me 14 times trying to catch me off guard with one of the many AR-15 I must have because of my father who was in the American army over 30 years ago well my father never used an AR-15 he used an M-16, (there are both big guns you don't hide them under your T-shirt in hot dry sunny southern France), and I have no guns at all because of this very reason, so when you say the worst I believe I some reason to say I may have you beating on the worst, just for laughs their to try and put the fear of god me the police tried to deport to the States all because I did not say vous to a man who was by the way 25 years younger than me there must be some irony there! Your an Expat I am not I am a half-breed I would be happy to be an Expat want to switch! I love wine I love pizza I also love all French cheese the stinkier the better after all I do have French blood flowing through me veins! You ever get a chance come to Peripgnan for some Pizza I believe it to be the best the locals here are called "Catalans" a mix of the best of the chic sassy French side and the best of the hot spicy side of the Spanish kicks all know other pizzas out of the house unless you have one in Paris we also have great wine here to wash down all that Pizza! Look for Place Arago in the heart of downtown Peripgnan you can thank me Later!

Gosh thanks for sharing, it’s nice to hear some of my own thoughts voiced. Also recess in France is only 15 minutes a day in the US it’s 30 minutes all through elementary and even longer in preschool years. And France schools have very limited playground equipment. This shocked me , some schools just have an empty fenced dirt floor parking lot sort of. It’s not their fault- they aren’t funded well enough in my option but I guess that’s one sacrifie made for making school free for everyone from age 3. Another shock in a good way was the quality and variety of their school meals. Definitely better quality food in the cantine than in US cafeterias.

Most Americans aren't fluent in a second language because if everyone here speaks English, how can we practice? I studied 3 years of Spanish in high school (1986-1988) and was an A student in that class. I lived in a city where I couldn't use it though. After living in Los Angeles for 20 years, and working in health care where the majority of my patients are Spanish speakers, my skills are very polished now. I went to Puerto Rico on vacation for about 10 days and being engulfed in Spanish was really enlightening for me. By day 8, my dreams were 100% Spanish, not English. I remember from high school, my teacher taught us that if we reach a point where our dreams are in Spanish, we are doing well. My husband takes full advantage of my language skills when we travel to Mexico too. Mexicans can pick out that I'm not from Mexico because the Spanish I learned was Castilian. However when in Puerto Rico, they said my Spanish sounds Mexican. LOL
