I don’t do a lot of CZcams commenting but I had to just praise you guys for doing something so bold and vulnerable with your music. While both my bio parents are still alive, I’m estranged from my father and have had to grieve for the death of our relationship in a way I guess might be similar to losing him to death. Additionally, my stepdad of 20 years is currently under treatment for a terminal medical condition. I know God works through people and art and I praise him for bringing your work to me in this hard time. Thank you again.

I've recently reeeaally dived back into church and all my old secular hard bands don't hit anymore. Like, I stopped caring, couldn't help it. (God is changing me) Sooo...starting over with trying to find a good hard Christian band was....it took a while to find one that matched my sound then I found you guys and yep, my new favorite band proud to say.

My father passed away five years ago due to heart failure. I laid on his chest until his final heartbeat. Since then, I have had difficulty sleeping. His final words to me were, "It is okay to cry. Everything will be alright." I have never been one to openly express my emotions, but my father was the only person who took the time out of his day to simply be with me. He was the only person who was consistently by my side as I grew up. My only friend. The Only one that didn't treat me like an afterthought. It hit me hard. While others sought material possessions from him on his death, all I ever wanted and still want, is to have him back. With me. My heart will forever have a missing piece. He was the only person I could talk to and rely on for support, even when he was deaf. We took care of eachother. I feel like I cannot talk about my problems to anyone anymore. Others say that they are in pain, but they do not know my pain what I went through. No one botheredto ask me. It pisses me off that one talks about him anymore. I feel like I'm truly alone now. Sometimes, I wake up crying. "What was your dream about?" "It was a mostly happy dream. I showed him a picture of a bird that I had caught since he asked me to, and when I turned around, he was gone." I have never woken up with tears down my face before.
