I usually use Il Makiage foundation and then I was nervous after reading it wasn’t non-comedogenic. While trying to recover from new raised small bumps. I researched non comedogenic foundations and tried NARS radiant long wear foundation. It gave me cystic pimples and it IRRITATED the hell out of my face. Now I’m sadly recovering from a more severe breakout. I read the amount of tocopherol (vitamin E) in it was likely the cause. 😭

While I’ve been only using mandelic acid consistently for a week I’ve noticed a huge reduction in inflamed cystic pimples. I have a lot to work as especially hyperpigmentation. But it definitely works don’t know why I stopped using it in the past! It also works really good with lactic acid

I just started tretinoin and in 2 weeks after using %.05-I'm just wondering if using an oil cleanser or double cleanse would be smart. I will say that generally speaking I tried an oil cleanser before and it caused a breakout. I maybe get a pimple 3x a year (maybe one small one close to my cycle) but I'm using this product for skin glow, hyperpigmentation and smooth dewy texture. What do you recommend for your AM routine?

If it was hereditary babies would be born with dark circles around the eyes. 😂 But I was not. Overtime after abuse due to poor eating or something,, dark circles developed.

I avoid any skincare products that contains fragrance

i started my skincare routine journey a week ago and settled for alpha arbutin and niacinamide as my serums to treat my hyperpigmentation and also hydrate it. however, i noticed after using alpha arbutin, the area above my mouth would kinda feel like it was burning. i decided to stop using it in the night and only use it in my AM routine, while in the night, i only apply niacinamide. for a couple of days now, the irritation hasnt been felt in that area. and it looks like my skin has been doing super well. should i continue with this regimen?

I recently got a full back patch test and found it in allergic to fragrances, nickel, and cobalt. I figured I was allergic to fragrances, but had no Idea that allergy was leading to the itchy red blisters on my fingers. The big reaction I've been dealing with is around my mouth and lips from playing trumpets and flutes with nickel mouthpieces! I've been struggling with this for two years and have finally gotten some real answers and results! Cetaphil gentle cleanser is creamy and the most gentle formula I've ever tried. I highly recommend. Idk why she Said not Cetaphil. It's brilliant! As an occlusive, be careful of Vaseline. It's pretty rare, but it made my allergic reaction way worse and prevented it from healing. I've been using Shea butter and it's been working wonders. My dermatologist also recommended hypochlorous acid spray and I'm obsessed. These products paired with my bioderma gel creme have been saving me and I feel my confidence slowly coming back and my skin is almost back to normal, if not better!!
