The Christmas Tree: Christmas Eve in the Ukraine (1975)

A young boy gets lost in the cold forest on Christmas Eve, but is rescued by an old man and brought home to his family.. This is a heart-warming tale that was shot at Canukr Studios near Courtice, Ontario and done in English. It also stars "The Forest Rangers" acting legend MIchael Zenon (aka Joe Two Rivers). The grainy picture adds to its nostalgia. This film was lost to time until recently

In the mid 80s, I wanted to get a perm so I can have that cool metal/rocker look. It ended looking like Mike Bossy's perm and I was swearing all the way home
This was before the time jim carry overdoesd on lsd.
This is a nice documentary from the good old days. I remember watching when it first aired on tv.
And sleep. When this came on it was time to go out and play football.
I had such a crush on Syme/Gabby when I first saw the series here in the UK in 1963.
BILLY!!!!
Every one should watch this film and read the book by W.O. Mitchell..
I used to love watching this show (specifically this episode) as a kid... I watch this now when I need a feel good moment.
I LOVED this! I remember one episode with a house floating down the river (?)
I was about 12 when I watched this in Estonia, and I was the greatest fan! I still remember some of the songs that I have never ever heard again - such as "I Love a Scandal". I've been searching for this series but sadly to no avail. Any help?
part 2! first one was good, thanks for this, basically the only kinda movies I'll watch
Fun fact, Adah Glassbourg, Jim Carry’s co-star, helped to lunch the OnlyFans platform, and actually has her own pay account from 2016-2018.

This show used to air following "The Wonderful World Of Disney" on CBC, in the 7PM time slot on Sundays during the 1970-1971 television season.
Saw this on pay tv around 1983 or 1984. This is the first time I've seen it since.
A charming tender movie.

Wow this takes me back! Used to like this show back in the day!
One of the best 80's music scores along with littlest hobo and Grandstand
I liked the first and this movie, I watched them all the time when I was a kid, also this movie Reveals the Truth about the stone House from the first movie
Does anybody know where I can find an archive of this show?
god
The indigenous girl at the beginning is played by Tantoo Cardinal. Most recently seen in Scorsese's Killers of the flower moon and also the Disney+ series Echo. It was her first role, she was 27.
Alan Hale Jr. ("Skipper") did George and in another episode so did John Banner ("Schultz" from Hogan's Heroes). Even though this show was on a Canadian network (CTV) I guess they didn't mind a free trip to Switzerland to do it.
Disco yo!!!
I remember this
there was also a street running on Simcoe st to the GM bumper plant closer to the lake. My aunt lived in the area , loved watching them swap the cars.
"When women came easy" ??

While this fire tower is long gone with only the footings remaining, there are many others still standing around The North. I've visited many of them in Northeastern Ontario, as well as the one at The Pinery near Grand Bend. So, anyone for Maple Mountain or Ishpatina Ridge?
Is that Rob Lowe?
Days before internet and mobile phones
