This is the first part of two videos where I will start up an alfa romeo, which has been stationary for more than 20 years. Damn, that new condensor in the old housing was pretty cool! Also finally someone who uses a proper spark plug from Magneti Marelli (one of the best manufactuerers of spark plugs), not totally unfitting NGK.
Please fix this, just subscribed to see that. My daily is a 33 and this reminds me of how I fixed that n 2015.

WHY THE GREASE??!!! that's a sure way to kill a motor (i'm also looking away from the sealant... what is the point?)
In the old engines, before the '50s or so, the oil seals were not used, so if I had used oil, this would have leaked everything, but mainly it would have gone into the crankcase where there is the crankshaft

What's all the grease for? Way too much!
The video doesn’t show well, but there are a lot of empty spaces inside the casing. Consider that with the heat the grease will melt and there will be even more space

This engine was very well preserved. Back in the 80's we teens were working on moped engines in much worse state!

what kind of hardware do you use for this video?
For now, I’m using a smartphone and an external microphone. Soon, I’ll upgrade and replace the smartphone with a camera because I’m not satisfied with the details and brightness of the scenes.

Always cut the holes out of a gasket first can easily split if close to the edge when punching them out nice job though

Are you really going to save this car considering the damage caused by rust? I don't really understand why bothering cleaning the interior by this manner since you don't really know the true state of decay of this car. It seems quite... Questionable.
The video was initially supposed to be just a start-up of the car that had been sitting for many years, but seeing the interior, I decided to try cleaning it and make a video just about that, for the first time. I felt like doing it, so I did. I enjoy experimenting with new types of content

Me intriga saber cual es el auto en que llegas, tiene el mismo tablero de instrumentos que los últimos Fiat 600, por el frente cuadrado podía ser el Fiat 133, pero las manijas de puerta son también las del 600 y el 133 tenía las del 128. With such contamination, the best way is to take out the seats and carpet, remove all the upholstery and clean it several times with steam and then detergents. What we see in the video is not professional, only amateurs do it.
