Lata temu usłyszałem gdzieś w przelocie i wrył mi się w pamięć. Długo szukałem co to za utwór co w czasach przedinternetowych nie było łatwe. Gdy w końcu znalazłem nie mogłem przestać słuchać. Psychodelia przeniesiona w siermiężną rzeczywistość lat osiemdziesiątych i niejasne przeczucie, że za chwilę coś się stanie. Aż wierzyć się nie chce, że w ciągu kilku lat powstało tyle cudownych, ponadczasowych utworów.
Wiesz to tylko osoba urodzona w Polsce jest w stanie pojac te atmosfere tamtego czasu. Zaden Anglik, Francuz, Amerykanin nigdy nie pojma tego czasu, tych ludzi, tej aury, rozmow.....
In Hungary the legendary "green album" (as 'A zöld lemez' :))) ) was well-known and copied/spreaded by cassettes in late 80s/90s as well. Manufactured Romance and Cyanide are the best! :)

A beautiful voice that stimulates the imagination. At the time, it seemed to me that a pretty girl was probably behind such a voice. Unfortunately, the spell was broken when I saw it on CZcams. My whole idea so far has gone to hell.

Ja też :) O dziwo, ten zespół w latach 80tych był mi obojętny, ja wówczas TSA, Dżem i tym podobne klimaty natomiast teraz na starość (lat 54) gdy tego słucham to stwierdzam, że to nawet nie jest dobre, to jest GENIALNE!

This was an incredible band who, if they knew the right people, would have made it BIG in the 80s. Sadly their discography consists only of these two "green album" tracks, one lone 45 ("time of my life" in 82) and a posthumous CD of demos (sold to fans on their MySpace page).

Alister Parker's Rickenbacker 360 was originally owned by Gerry (and the Pacemakers) Marsden. Originally a 360/12, it was supplied by Francis Hall of Rickenbacker and shipped together with John Lennon's 325/12. Marsden used it for years until he damaged it by cutting the head short to fit a case he'd made. Annoyed with himself he sold it in New Zealand where Parker got it and converted it to a six string. It incredibly valuable because of this provenance, Parker claims to have left it in a taxi.
I saw these at Acklam Hall,and Crass about a year earlier.

A ja myślę że po latach Sting słuchając Rendez Vous też się trochę zainspirował. Odsyłam do nagrania Stinga " I cant stop thinking about you". Początek to... Rendez Vous czystej próby.😉
Wyszło z ...BRAK...a gdzie "Na Bliskim Wschodzie", "Pośród wystawowych szkieł" itp. To co prawda wcześniej ale dla niektórych....Chodził mi ten zespół po głowie, Brawo Ziemowit. Też byłem młody (rocznik 1962). Pozdr.

Jeden z najlepszych utworów muzycznych Polskiej muzyki rozrywkowej jaki kiedykolwiek został upubliczniony w mojej opinii. Słucham bardzo często po mimo tylu lat, wciąż ogarnie mnie świeżością i atmosferą.
Rewelacja! Pamietam! Wybaczam ze poczatkowy riff przypomina De Doo Doo De Da Da The Police ;) Solowka faktycznie miazdzy- przypomina mi styl Alexa Lifesona z RUSH. Piekne! Dzieki za wrzute!
akurat tamten utwór był Police bardziej pop-rock and rollowy ale tam...cieszy mnie rozwój nowej fali bo wiele zainspirowali wówczas Rezerwat,Lombard bo muzyka nabrała czegoś niesamowitego do tego dokładając Immanuela regowego i Tilt plus Brygadę Kryzys i było ciekawie

This "green record" (hardly anyone knew it was called "Backstage Pass" then ;) ) was substantial for development of the punk movement in Poland. Also for me - soon I started a punk band ;) Great songs!!!

W późnych latach dziewięćdziesiątych ta płyta była do wypożyczenia w bibliotece szczecińskiej która nazywała się Książnica Pomorska - pamiętam, że wypożyczałem ją i słuchałem sobie ze swojego gramofonu.
