It was very charming Joe, we loved it. Loved our entire 11,000 miles driving through the US and looking forward to returning next year or perhaps 2026. We would love to do the same trip all over again but will more likely drive across the southern states and then up your east coast.....but you do live in a nice area...perhaps too cold for us though. You get a great feeling of wilderness Dave out there on the pass. We experience lots of wilderness in Australia Dave with only 27 million people in a country larger than all of Europe. Love all the "green" too.

Hi Dave. A fantastic drive very few visitors experience. We drove from East to West and loved it. I will accept your advice re river names because a bit difficult to dispute your wisdom from 12000 miles away. All I know is that we need to get back there. Planning UK, Ireland and a toe into France in 2025. Thanks for your contribution.

Thankyou, still learning how to improve my video editing to make more interesting. Aberystwith was a great place but sad to see the deterioration in buildings. Thanks for the link. I had forgotten how time flies looking at the old cars driving around. We loved Ashburton and have stayed there twice now on our three trips to the UK. I can understand why you would have lived there. We will visit Ashburton again. Love how easy it is to drive into Dartmoor to see the ponies etc from Ashburton. We love Britain. Thanks for your comments and the link which was great. Only think is it reminded me of how quickly time passes.

Thankyou francis5155. Actually we quite enjoyed the cloud cover and the odd shower out here as we had been driving across America for weeks in brilliant sunshine and very warm conditions. It was not cold this day, just cloudy. A fabulous scenic drive if the opportunity allows you to ever drive it. Thankyou for your reply

It was beautiful. If you are into gardens though it is hard to beat the UK. Will be going back for our fourth time to enjoy their perennial gardens with incredible backdrops like castles or buildings several hundred years old after our next trip driving around NZ. Thankyou for comments.

Oregon beaches got a pass mark from us but sad to say they are a long long way behind Australian Beaches, but then again, you have far better mountain ranges.

Alston is an amazing place. Some of my family lives there and I wait months just to see them. But in February I’m going for a Monday-Friday holiday at the harbut law cottages! (1 mile down the A689 from Alston) I can’t wait to see Alston again.

@@Tiswas2010 I’ve stayed 4 times and I definitely recommend it. Cheap and there’s lots of walks down there. The cottages are well sized and comfortable.

Hi Boxing4K. Maybe you can help me. I am having real trouble viewing comments on my channel. I discovered that I can see comments on my iphone and not computer so I sent you a message 5 days ago. I will replicate that response here. Please advise if any of these responses reached you. My response on my iphone, which incidentally is not showing on this computer was, "Thank you for responding. This response is from my iphone as my desk top won't allow me to see comments or respond. Agree with you but the actual beaches are inferior too. No as much sand and our outer city beaches often have attractive bush right to the shoreline."

A one way road wouldn't work for the farming community the road is difficult to navigate but we manage....hope you come to the UK one day and see the lake district I promise there would be very little you would want to change it is stunningly beautiful.....Thanks 👍

I am from Australia but narrow two way roads add to the challenge. England is full of single lanes used for traffic both ways.

I have just found this response under "Dashboard" but cannot relate it to the video you were watching but thanks for sending a response. Australia is known at the Lucky Country.
