Wonderful very helpful video. Just to check - in the basement over the winter months does the mandevilla need any light at all, or can it be dark? (If necessary, I can keep the clipped plant by a window in the basement.)

As a mandevilla grows should you intertwine the new vines down toward the woody beginnings? Ours in on our covered porch and looks like sticks at the soil level up about 8 inches and very green lush at the top toward the ceiling!

So part of the reason why commercial growers, and even some gardeners plant their crowns a foot deep (like even your self suggested:) Is so that shallow cultivation and use of a Rototiller can actually be done safely. Nice video tho, you covered a lot of ground!

Is it better to water impatiens from the bottom up, like putting water in the tray? My impatiens is in a pot. We live in metro Atlanta, Ga. And it gets hot. It may get about two hours of partial sun per day.

I am in ohio. Just bought 2 sall pieces of phlox to be palnted in hot June. I know the flowering won't exeist until next spring but both my small pieces of phlox are very browm, with some shoots of green. Ddi I over water or are they drying out OR they will be healthy next spring because my recent transplanting of them?

A cheap hint. I buy them outside the grocery store, one of those pots for $20 that has alot of them growing. Empty the pot, just take a saw and separate them, you can get 6 great cannas for different pots.

If we put it under grow light on March, it will help them. I don't have too many windows with a lot of light?

Is it to late to prune my dipledenia/mandvilla, May 23? I'm trying to get it to flower. I didn't prune this past year, it was my first season with these plants. Not sure exactly which they are. I have one white, and one red. Kept them inside through winter they have vined all winter, and have leaves. I want them to reflower.
