I had dismissed Jake the H. as someone who couldn't write a melody. But this is not bad! Almost as good as Paul Schoenfield ! So I stand corrected.
How wonderful to see you perform together again! Bravo!
Gene...as always Amazing. Mr.Kanim Spellbinding!

Truly stunning - beautiful performance, everyone!
Such a beautiful being! RIP
We miss you Bob! You gave the world such wonderful performances.
What a beautiful and powerful performance everyone. I only heard it in rehearsal and backstage until now. Thank you Lori, Mina, Alisa, Laurie, Misha and Jonathan.
Thank you, Mina, for creating this beautiful presentation and for your exquisite performance alongside Alisa, Laura, Misha, and Jonathan. So appreciative!
A wonderful tribute to each and every man, woman, and child who was affected by the attack, using the Haiku rhythm to convey the poignancy of the tragedy. As the war in Ukraine continues with no vision of an end, let's ask again: When will we learn not to kill each other?
We are glad this music resonated with you, Gilda. Music of Remembrance is committed to creating music that matters.
WOW. Absolutely heartbreaking and stunning.
Congratulations to MOR and thanks to the Green family for helping ensure that the mission of MOR remains fulfilled for many more years.
Congratulations on this much deserved gift which is a testament to your resilience, vision, and artistry. Long lives Music of Remembrance!
We are so grateful to all of you for your support and loyalty over the years. We could never have reached this point without you. We have so much exciting work ahead of us, and it means so much that you'll be part of this journey.
Mazltov, MOR, and zayt gezunt un glik to the wonderful donor and her family!
They are amazing!
Congratulations on your transformative gift.
Many many thanks

A marvelous discussion; I only wish that the performances of the complete works could have been inserted into the conversation. News of the Pal Hermann recordings is exciting, and I see that Toccata Classics has released volume 1. I'll be ordering it presently! It speaks to Dutch openness of the time that four emigre Hungarian composers found homes in the Netherlands: Geza Frid, Pal Hermann, Zoltan Szekely and Ferenc Weisz. Alas, only Frid and Szekely survived the war and Holocaust...

Michael has a simply amazing voice. Always brings me to tears.
He's extraordinary. What a great talent! He has a real affinity for Hegge's music.
@@markswessinger7814 and he has such a kind spirit. Michael does this out of genuine love for the music and deep affection for the audience. He once described the theater as his church, and I've thought of that often. If what we think of as "church-goers" were more like him, the world would be such a beautiful place.

This baritone is a powerhouse. Love him!!!
Just that tiny bit of the Return to Amasia was lovely and sad.
お身体大切にしてください。龍馬伝、坂本龍一さんは関係なかったですか?永田町さんは気にしてます。
Deeply moved and touched by this beautiful performance! The children sound like a heavenly choir. Thank you for the possibility you awaken by remembering, Mina Miller!
This all sounds sad, why?
It's very moving and very strange to view this.
I saw the collegiate premier of this work and it is even more moving in person when you have the complete opera to give it context. I love Haggie's work.
Yay! I mean, argh. But yay!
ベンヤミンのパサージュ論からの引用だろうか。 大戦下の欧州からの亡命と、現代の欧州への亡命の対比… は深読みか。 Das Passagen-Werk by Walter Benjamin?
The poem is by an Arabic poet. I believe the context is more contemporary than WWII.
