    dementia and alzheimer can be heal , use vegetable oils in your food , coconut , avocado oil . eat only fruits , vegetables , nuts and seeds . do breathing exercizes . nuts look like a brain... so its good for your brain . learn meditating and focus on your brain , so u have blood circulation . Yoga is healty . U need lots of magnezium , favorit food of your brain . Cacaou , spinich , stinging nettle , alfalfa . Avoid burned oils , chemicals , acidic foods .

    Not enough info. They need to increase salary for OTAs for union. So sad how little they pay for all the work OTAs do!

    Thank you for sharing this video. What do you recommend for individuals with painful or arthritic knees? I recently encountered a woman who had fallen in a parking lot and could not get up on her own. As an OT, I thought I was prepped to help, but it was painful for her to try to move to her knees. We improvised with a foam balance pad for cushion but wanted a way to make the person feel more comfortable and help her more efficiently and safely.

    Thanks for this. I teach a Falls Prevention course at my local senior center, and I *always* address assessing injury and getting up from the floor. It's an important consideration, because as we all know, accidents happen.

    Do you have a tip to give my 96 year old mother-in-law the abilty to open cans? She hasn't the strength to work can openers...not even electric.

    If you measure up and you are between sizes - do you make the cane a bit too long, or a bit too short? Also noted you didn’t use the locking device after you set the length.

    I am at a snf for my level II and am struggling with documentation on the go as you might say. I do not see the word ‘ meaningful’ in documentation. Is it appropriate to use that in a daily note etc?

    I find it extremely worthwhile to be face to face at the office at least twice a week, you get caught up with the latest info from SN , PT, etc even with the electronic record I've found it makes a difference to have face to face communication. I often get more from just showing up in the morning than at our planned IDT meetings ....
