Opening Epcot Center cast member here - It was a time in my life I'll always remember. Cast members used to have a media library in the wardrobe area and I'd go in there and watch this preview video over and over - Every note and every scene is ingrained in my brain. I can't help watching this and being really emotional about it. I met my wife there when her and my departments merged almost 40 years ago. We'd take lunch together sitting under the monorail beam next to Universe of Energy being blinded by the original mirror tiles some days. Our first date was in Japan Teppanyaki Room and we 'did it' for the first time in the cast member parking lot. Fun times. :)

I miss the old Epcot...and really any version of it before they changed or got rid of all the attractions. So many rides made worse and then they think "its the rides fault not that because we changed it so lets just get id of it" sorry I just really miss how Epcot was about technology and not just rides based on movies(like how every park is now) To me Epcot was futuristic and that is lost now,as if we are so far into the future that we can no longer innovate(or have innoventions) Also the other major park that seemed to be majorly overhauled is Disney Studios(MGM/Hollywood) it seems to be no longer about movies

I have a Van Covering VIP 1900 and can't get the accompaniment to play. I opened the section where the accompanient is , tap on it and no rhythm styles show up. So I have NO styles. Any one able to let me know what to do? I rebooted, etc.

At one point (years ago) I wrote an entire wiki article about what I thought this movie would be about. I had all the plot points and must have spent 3-4 hours making it work as a film. Wiki deleted that shit so fast and I never backed it up :(

I think I recall seeing another promotional film for EPCOT from either the late 70s or early 80s that was here on CZcams before. I was more like a photographic film presentation with music in the background. I'd like to see that if it's still up.

The design of the park is also an issue because expansion in some areas became nearly impossible. It still has tremendous sentimental value.

What it turned out to be is not even CLOSE to what Walt envisioned. Was there last week and saw the film that he hosted explaining his vision. It was supposed to have houses, apartments, schools, businesses….a "community". Still, I'm sure that his ghost isn't turning it's nose up at the bucks it brings in.

It's a movie showtimes menu (when calling up a theater circa 1985-1995, always in a robotic voice to make the features sound boring) crossed with an unsolicited cold call (once typically conducted by a human). Today all polling/survey calls are pre-recorded anyway so the gag's utterly lost on a CZcams audience, not to say a big loss
