    if you are having issues creating an account on the app, know that the website and app do not communicate your user name and password. Make sure that if you use auto-fill on the phone to input your email, that it didn't add a space after the email, this will cause your account creation to fail and will only say "an error has occurred, please try again."

    Does it really only have the capacity for 12 almonds and 2 days worth of cat hair? Then you throw the pad and the tiny little reservoir away? I’ve got 3 cats and 2 dogs. I need three or 4 of those pads each week. At least?

      Thanks for reaching out! The pad holds a great amount of debris, and is recommended to be replaced if the pad becomes fully saturated, its dirt chamber is full, it's noticeably dirty, or if the VACMOP is showing signs of reduced suction power.

    I have an older model Shark Rocket UV450 26 corded stick vacuum that came with the hardwood genie attachment. I've never used it because the end of the accessory doesn't plug in properly. I have to turn the accessory around backwards to plug it in. The main head plugs in and works fine. Is there a way to turn it around without breaking the genie head?

      if you are you in the UK or EU i think they swapped breezeboost for "strong breeze mode" that mimics a natural breeze, on my model this is activated by pressing the fan up (only on the remote for 3 seconds) - or conversely, if you press on the fan down button on remote for 3 seconds this engages "gentle breeze mode" - these modes fluctuate between a couple of the intermediary levels to change the gust from constant to changeable. - breezeboost capable models are usually signified by when the remote has the upward facing arrow button on the top right, whereas the models with the gentle / strong breeze modes that mimic nature have in it's place a timer button.

    Posibly shitiest vacum cleaner on market...pure garbage..unpractical,hard for cleaning,ruber in chamber for cleaning destroyed by itself after 6 months...so vacum not working..definitly not for house.. this is only good for hotels.nothing else.dont waste money on this scrap.👈

    while asleep (I keep the vacuum cleaner in the bedroom) it suddenly woke me up while flashing. I used it once and it does a good job. Do I have to shut it off and would I have troubles restarting when I need it ? Is it recommended to shut off anyways due to Thunderstorms?

      Thanks! The lights you mentioned flashing, are they error lights? Could you confirm which lights were flashing? As for turning the product off during storms, it's not necessary to do so.

    So I guess I assumed that this thing would just be on all the time, but it looks like the main way to use. It is to set it to a run for an hour or a few hours and then it turns off. I saw that someone asked if it can be set up to Run all the time and the answer was yes, but my question now is - what is the optimal way to run one of these? Would it be typical to just turn it on for like two hours a day and that’s it or should it only be turned on a few times a week, or is having a get on always The best option?

      Thanks for reaching out! The run time would be up to you, depending on how long you want it to run, where the product is, and how often you want it to filter; ie cooking odors. While your air purifier can be left running all the time, longer runtimes may shorten the HEPA filter's lifespan. We recommend keeping your air purifier in AUTO mode to optimize the HEPA filter life and performance. After 100% clean air status is achieved for 5 minutes in AUTO mode, your air purifier will enter ECO mode and further optimize your HEPA filter life.

    I was happy with my new Shark duo clean cordless for six months, has great mechanism for picking up pet fur. Over course of time my enthusiasm had waned, parts started failing, parts began to break off. Credit to Shark customer service, they had replaced faulty parts without hassle. Currently I'm having to clean the tubing and vaccuum head due to constant blockage. The suction has deteriorated to such a degree that it's failing to pick up the smallest particle. When it is switched off, the particles will drop on the floor. The dust collecting chamber doesn't stay on, you have to brutally whack it hard to make it stay attached to the motor. It's now emitting terrible screeching sound, like a cat whose just been castrated. I think it's still under warranty? But, I've lost the will to live, as soon as my new Dyson V12 arrives, it's going in the bin.

    Not being able to remove the debrit filter in the holding tank is a huge miss by shark. They want you just to wipe it but over time it gets completely clogged with hair and gunk.. by simply making it removable this problem would be solved and the vaccuum would be greatly improved.

    To the 4 legged families, 1 run your finger above and below the brush roll area 2 run finger along the plastic that runs under the machine. 3 Clean the hose area under dirty reservoir 4 when the lid (top resecior) isn't screwed on sontigh😂t, you won't have streaks in other words, tighten the lid where the reservoir doesn't leak when turned upside down.

    I bought mine second hand from someone who claimed they only used it a month and it didn't work good for them because they had a dog that shed too much hair, now a couple years later I'm trying to actually use it and I haven't plugged in and aligned properly and the light is on but it doesn't show any of the lights on the top so maybe it's just a different model? But I've had it plugged in for 24 hours and it still shows the blinking red low battery like an actual looks like a battery light. I don't know what's going on

    After hours of research and rebooting everything... I used my wife's iPhone and it worked immediately. I was then able to select the robot on my Android phone. Not sure if there is a security setting or another config issue. Anyway... This is one more thing to try as you troubleshoot.

    DO NOT BUY! Just bought this and hate it so much. It can’t map multiple floors, which makes it insanely dumb. If you lift it to mop a second floor it gets stuck in spot mode and there’s NO WAY to get it out of stupid spot mode.

    I've been using Shark products for years, having switched from Dyson, and have always been very satisfied. However, I purchased the Shark CarpetXpert with Stainstriker in December 2023. After using it three times, it stopped dispensing the solution in deep clean mode. I used it exactly as directed. Walmart wouldn't let me exchange it, the troubleshooting tips are useless, and I've had a terrible time reaching customer care. I'm very disappointed. 😡😡😡😡

    Done all this. Still cannot see network. Yet I have a different shark unit connected to the same network.

      Thank you for your interest in the Shark Cordless HydroVac Pro XL! It has a runtime of 15 minutes and takes 3 hours to fully charge.

    i couldn't buy a shark filter a year after I Bought my last Shark air purifier, had to go aftermarket. and the screen went out. i love my shark vac but will never buy an air purifier from them again.
