Very nice renovation George! Did you use the recess on the second floor for a water heater or heat pump? I assume you couldn't remove the fireplace because the chimney is part of the exterior aesthetic. Would have been nice to use that space, or even installed an inset wood burner that utilized the chimney. Use of space is critical on a tiny house and you did a great job on yours. Well done!

I had to invest in the kit and go door to door. Turned out, some people got rashes from some of the products. Total failure. I learned that I am not good at sales.

I think a fault/failure of mine is hesitancy to try new things. I didn't go out for the volleyball team in middle school because I was afraid kids would make fun of me. (I wasn't "popular" enough to play volleyball.) I didn't quit the soccer team in high school even though I was being bullied by teammates because playing soccer was so intrinsic to my identity-- even though I could have used that time elsewhere. I struggle to watch new movies at home on a Friday night because I'm afraid I won't like them. That's an area where I try to challenge myself.
