Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra Montage

At 37 tracks high, this is about the most complex edit I've ever done! Thankfully, I did not have to do the audio mix as well, that was done by the orchestra conductor and arranger of this short piece, Joe Davies. The audio quality is not brilliant, but remember, this is the result of concatenating 32 recordings, most made with a mobile phone or tablet and not one with a proper mic in a studio ...
Ceunant Mawr Waterfall

Shot in February during a short break at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Llanberis, Wales. We walked up Waterfall View to see, admittedly at a distance, the Ceunant Mawr Waterfall. Next time we visit, we'll try to get closer and also travel on the Snowdon Railway to the summit of Mount Snowdon.
Norton Walk

Our daily exercise as approved by HM Government during the current Corona Virus Emergency. It was strange! This video was recorded more for ourselves than others (who may find it a little boring, to be honest). You are however most welcome to view the curiously empty roads and hear the seemingly louder-than-usual birdsong.
From Dusk to Dark II (Re-edited)
zhlédnutí 56Před 4 lety
Having extracted these shots from our two dashcams to use in 'V2G II' on the ElectrAA Account, I spent a couple of hours searching for the perfect music and editing this. (In fact, I returned to it a day later and made a few adjustments.) This is 2 minutes 10 seconds of pure self-indulgence, just for the fun of it. Enjoy. :-)

Playing with my Osmo Pocket camera. I set it up on a GoPro mount clipped to a post adjacent to the bird feeder. With the wireless adapter attached, it connected by Bluetooth to my phone inside the house. Set to 1080p and slow motion x 4, it shows what this camera is capable of.
Taking John to see Showborough House - in the Rain
zhlédnutí 124Před 5 lety
Whilst recovering from a broken wrist and back caused by throwing himself downstairs, John came to visit us for a few days. Despite the weather, we took him to see the annual sculpture exhibition and sale at Showborough House. It rained, really quite hard; despite that, or maybe because of it, this turned out to be an interesting few minutes of video. Watch in 4K if you can. Camera was an Osmo ...

Oldbury Farm, Gloucestershire, UK, 29th December 2018. On a delightfully sunny Winters day, farming friends with their vintage tractors met for an informal Christmas/New Year ploughing competition . Here are a few pictures that give a short flavour of how the day started. Shot with a DJI Mavic Pro Drone and a DJI Osmo Pocket. Apologies for the annoying music, but the aerial pictures need someth...

UltraWide Drone Shots

For anyone with an Ultrawide screen this might be interesting. These are 4K shots, shrunk, cropped and rendered at 2560 x 1080. I did this to try playing from CZcams on my LG Ultrawide screen [ is.gd/UltraWide ] and it's turned out just as I hoped. So, here's the video for anyone else with the same format screen. There is no story or logical progression to these shots, just a few pretty picture...
Selsey October 2018

My cousin Roger and his wife Joan live in Selsey on the south coast. He's not been well recently, so we went down to visit him. He is always interested to hear about the latest technology so I was telling him about the drone. Before we left, I flew it to get a few still and video shots of his house from above. They live so close to the sea, that this mission swiftly turned into this short 2 min...

Over Basin represents the beginning of an ambitious but achievable long-term project to restore the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal. The canal ran an almost entirely rural course across 34 miles of the most glorious English countryside. Few people navigating the junction between the A40 and A417 know that just below them this oasis exists. is.gd/A40_A417 . If you wish to know more, visi...

Guy Goma wouldn't have said playing games was a waste of time 😅
I so… pale
All Aboard. All Aboard. Enjoy the ride.
You're a really useful engine.
You're a really useful railway.
Love Shanklin Chine such a beautiful interesting place to visit
One of the if not the greatest heritage railway of all time! 🏴 Bless Wales for its trains and its choirs! @6:09
Look! It's Guy Goma
Great 👍 videos of the little Welsh trains! 🏴 I’m not Welsh, but I’d love to go there. @4:08
I thought he's a black guy.
i had the pleasure of working with guy. A lovely guy (in both senses) and a computer journalism legend
I liked clunky COBOL, never saw it in industry in the 1990s or beyond though
What’s wrong with playing video games lol imagine saying this in 2019
Love it! It was a most interesting day, the rain was no problem really. Thank you for the visit and for the video.
I love going to showborough!
Can I say, respectfully, What a load of cheating and looks like folk wih NO IDEA! Nce aerial photography showing the alignment of the plows and wheelspin of poorly set-up machines - Notice the Top-link lengths, etc + Added ballast - for a 2-furrow plow? Smokey exhausts from too low revs in a high gear - let the hydraulics do some work and produce Less wheelslip... bt it's good to see folk getting out and just doing something - thanks for showing!
Beautiful render! The detail is immense
I really like the editing and music too! 👍
Great vid, I'm in Worcester and always trying to find new places to fly. Do you have any other recommendations?
This makes me the most emotional Ive been today and that's saying a lot because I just sat through cars 3 crying the whole time
Interesting even if you don't have ultra wide screen 👍
Wow, very nice ☺️
Excellent video!
very nice Steve
Great video Stephen! Grass a bit less scorched now.
Enjoy the new toy! Blue Skies and Happy Landings!
Very nice! Beautiful scenery, nicely captured and love the music too! Also, like the fact you have some 'Non Drone' footage in there too.
Maybe you could try some divining over the forked part? I once found a water pipe on our archaeological site and only had two pieces of clipped and bent coathanger wire balanced in two empty Biro tubes. It was rather exciting even though I was meant to be looking for stone walls! But apparently some people find stone and others find water.
That was a while ago now. Don't think we've seen them again since then.
Certainly unique :-)
Interesting video
Cool!
Great video
All very nice 👍
What kind of bloke are you? Read the manuals indeed.......!! And all the other stuff is just poppycock to stop you having fun like talking the nice policeman, spending the night in jail, having your new toy confiscated......er.....ok, maybe better to read the poppycock after all.
Exactly. This piece of kit is sooo complex, there is so much to learn ... then we add all the CAA rules, so you fly within the law (and the nice policeman does NOT take away my new toy) ... I am still reading stuff today and learning more. I'll give you the demo (if you want) next time you are around these parts. In the meantime, I'm compiling my own checklist. It starts... Check AirMap for No-fly zones etc. Check Sport Mode set to OFF on right side of controller. Compass OK? Recalibrate? (Aircraft Status Bar - Calibrate . . .) Home Point recorded? Aircraft status indicator blinks rapidly. Set a Failsafe Altitude (100ft.?) Check controls set to Mode 2 Check gimbal is in FPV Mode ... and so on! :-)
I bet that was more nerve racking than setting up a few Amazon dots etc.! Watch out for becoming a 'drone widow', Sheila. xxx
See my answer to John Evans. It's not something to be taken lightly, for sure.
Hi this is Benedict ☺️
HI, Ben. Nice to have you watching. :-)
Having fun? 😁
Oh yes. :-)
thank you so much for this beautiful video such a rare treat when your confined to home after an accident and need to look for inspiring videos on You Tube. Had a love affair with Shanklin Chine now for over 40 years since my childhood visits with parents and with the Scouts back in the 60s. Thank again for such a wonderful video. How awesome is God creation.
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Michael. I think that's one of the nicest I have received. I am so pleased my pictures brought back such happy memories for you. I am glad the Internet gives you the ability to see such favourite places 'on demand'. Best Wishes, Stephen and Sheila.
Proud to have him as my electrical engineering professor!
Mrs Evans, you are wonderful. You put so much feeling into your poems, you took me there with you. Thank you for sharing this, it's wonderful. ( from Janice's sister, Linda xxx)
So beautfully spoken .....
if there was ever a best youtube video awards . this is one that should get it. ;)
Thank you - I will pass that on to Mum. :-)
Would be good to post costs too as I see some chargers now charge about 30p a kw and that would make it quite expensive
Cruise Control is terrible for efficiency, it saps energy. Much more precise on the pedal :)
Where does the toast come out?
Enjoyed the video thanks. Have you used Zapmap yet?
Yes, we use Zap-Map quite frequently.
Do you always repeat everything she says?
Where Sheila leads, I follow! ;-)
spacegreycoralred does he always repeat what she says? where Sheila leads, he follows.
Michael Owen: Sorry hit the wrong button and removed your comment! Argggh! My apologies. I agree about the Elgar, but sadly, even though the man himself may be out of copyright, available recordings aren't. It has to be music available under Creative Commons 3.0.
Really enjoyed this video - nice to see people of my generation (baby boomers?) doing these trips.
Our experience is that our generation is far more interested in EVs than youngsters. We are founder members and directors of www.electraa.org.uk so we also do talks and presentations and attend county shows etc., to talk to people about the benefits of Evs and we generally find the same there, too.
Good to know. I'm hoping to take the plunge myself at some point.
If and when that happens, you might find a chat with us useful; we can be found via www.evanswers.co.uk . feel free!
