The trick is to replace it before it goes bad. It will inevitably go bad eventually between 100-150k you're lucky if you make it to 200k.

There are a few cars out there that the alternator is easy a d can be replaced in under 30 minutes. It's only the new cars that the engineers decided to make it difficult to replace a starter.

They should as long as they can identify the issue. This one was the sensors in the bumper. The whole truck had corrosion rust building up everywhere on metal and sensors. Dealer couldn't figure it out until I pointed out the obvious rust and corrosion

I keep having issues with the timing jumping when I try to rotate the motor by hand. I lined up all the timing marks and pulled the pin but the second I rotate the engine the timing chain goes loose. Any tips?

@kking1106 there's a tool that locks between the cam gears and keeps the gears from turning.

@@NaritasanStudios I had everything done on it and the tensioner locked in. It says to rotate the motor 2x and check timing I did that and it jumped again. Not sure what I'm doing wrong

Did you release the tensioner when the chain and cam gears were lined up?

I thought my angle was pretty clear but apparently not

@@NaritasanStudios I found it. Finally got the bolt off but mine appears to be rusted in wont come out for anything. Can't see it from the passenger side or even get a light in the exhaust is blocking. Man what a nightmare

I wonder if you can twist it but it feels weak and plasticy like it will break. But then how can it rust? Seems unfair ugh

It won't come out. I tried WD-40 no good. Its welded in there solid with rust apparently

@natefxpro2973 it's tough do know a vehicles value these days with inflation at an all time high, and aftermarket parts costs being extremely high. Especially for Lamborghini. It's easy to have a $million sunk into an exotic like this.

I can almost guarantee that's what happened. But can you blame them? Even my customer took it to the dealer several times before he found me, and they couldn't figure it out.

You need a computer scanner to see if there are any error codes stored on your computer. Why did you replace the sensor? Was it a guess?

@adairjanney7109 I used a floor jack a majority of the time. Anything that will support the weight of the engine and not damage the oil pan

I think the error message can come on for different reasons. This one's sensors were corroded. Replaced sensors and went away. If the brake switch is bad there will be tale tale signs. The most obvious one is your brake lights will be stuck on. If they aren't stuck on your brake switch is fine. Most dealerships couldn't diagnose this issue. It wasn't until I found rust everywhere on this truck that I had the idea that maybe the sensors had gone bad. The dealer looked into it, and found out the sensors were corroded.

@@NaritasanStudios yeah it really is. So I’ve got an 01 Ford F-150 xlt 4x4 with a 5.4 engine. Is my engine a 2 valve or 3 valve? I need a new truck tho. The head gasket is leaking causing a miss in the morning at first start up.

According to Google an 01 would be a 2 valve

Have you ever heard of Blue devil head gasket sealer?

@wyattsdad8561 I have a video with an old Jeep Liberty that had a crackt head gasket and I used the Blue devil head gasket sealer and it worked. The bottle even says 100% guaranteed. Follow the directions on the bottle.

You would have to put a new timing chain in almost right away. Might as well rebuild the engine while you're at it. 🎉
