Is The Twin Turbo Cadillac CTS-V Sport The One To Have?
It annoys me how spoiled Americans are when it comes to cars... This car is boring? This car? Boring??? Try driving skoda octavia diesel... I would kill to have this car in Europe (to be euro spec). We only have 300h... 😮💨
Yeah were spoiled af
Great video, thanks so much for the insight man. Hope you can grow the channel you deserve it
More content on the way, im just lazy
“Any good?” Walking that thin clickbait line lol! I just picked up an 07 Z06 with 60k miles, Livernois Stage 2 heads, BTR stage 2 cam, CAI, ARH long tubes, Corsa Sport, McLeod twin disk clutch, and Blisteins for $30k.
Yeah but was it atleast worth the watch? Nice car btw
The C6 is easily the best of the 8 generations. The lightest and best power to weight ratio.
@@michaelsheedy best performance per $
What mods u got on it?
@@imjcarp nothing aside from a skipshift delete
@@TreadDepthChannel cool , I’m going to be in the market early 2025. Trying to decide between a 2008-11 corvette or a 2016-2019 mustang GT. What u thinking?
@@imjcarp you trying to go fast in a straight line or just fast in general? 😂
@@TreadDepthChannel I’m not too concerned with speeds after 80mph , probably whatever I can smoke people off the red light and move quick around town etc
@@imjcarp i know for a fact that 5.0 mustangs can be far more capable for less money if youre just stop light dragging
Yesterday picked up a 2010 with 34k miles for 25k$. Always garaged and covered. Most beautiful thing I’ve ever had after 60 cars in my background.
Sounds like it
Try finding/pricing a front strut.

Awesome video
Thanks!
I love this car, and the older Porsche Boxster/Cayman’s. Building my Ford Escort ZX2 right now as a daily, naturally aspirated no thanks on the turbos I like reliability.
These are unbelievably cool cool cars hand built motors and mostly hand built car actually special car won’t be missed until it’s gone and scrapped obviously the run is over but it’s some used ones out on lots and parked tucked away folks don’t know what there grandpa or uncle Cole have out back lol. Too many of those sold to folks who didn’t realize what the salesman proposed them to order lol.
I have an SUV but hoping to sell it for a down payment on a used RC cuz i love the way the car looks and sounds!
I had a 2012 gs, if you take all the problems and over priced maintenance away it was my favorite car.
How much did the maintenance cost?
@@AntonIvanov-rb3vs seemed to be over a grand no matter what it was, as for repairs the four years I've owned it I probably could have bought myself another car for what i paid to fix it...another nice car.
@@Cardoso71875 oh, that sucks... :( I was thinking about buying this one but I would not like to spend a fortune on it
Same car $19k rn I’m buying it
Props to the man for daily driving his vette instead of making it a garage queen.
Good job, kid.
I have a c5 that has never be rained on in over 12 years. It has now 102k on it.
I will warn, the seat parts, from the leather cover to the frame, are not sold by GM any more. The headlights, not sold at any price. Now, there is always a way. If I had a garage, I would have just removed my lights and shipped them out for lens replacement. Who knows, that may still happen, but I went with aftermarket, and the fitment sucks. For seat repair, I just bought some used seats online and had them shipped on a pallet. Not cheap, but it worked. We are in the compromise years now with these cars. See if you can find one super low mileage and garage kept. They have great bones, but the headlights, weather-stripping, seat surfaces, etc.. All that stuff hates to have been used.
@@BrisLS1 there alot of aftermarket seat repair solutions
I’m 19 years old in the market for one of these, I just want to know if the 3LZ is the best option to do or should I go for the cheaper 1LZ/2LZ

Depends on how the previous owner took care of it.
Always, Corvette owners are usually pretty picky
Purchased mine new in 2010 in cookeville tn. It now has over 300k serviced by the book! I purchased it there because Chris Hammon manages the best service department in the nation . they even have a concierge !!!!!! Check them out
Feels like they combined a BRZ (small sporty) with a Camry XLE V6 (2GR-FE engine) and slapped a Lexus badge on it. Might be under 40k but after years the prices have not gone down too much so it does seem to hold it's value but not good for people like me who want to get them cheap.
If it dont break most people wont trade or sell it so 🤷♂️
Man i stumbled across this car by mistake misunderstanding somebody talking about a cts v and man im like how have I not known about this i would’ve been driving one today if i knew a year ago
A 2008 Corvette in my area is 30k
Ooof, look for more miles 😂
Clean it up and keep it stock, it will be worth way more than $800. Very fun little cars.
I sold it for $3,500 a few weeks later
The 2-Door Coupe' version of the 840i is the best car money can buy in it's class - new or used !!
Who the hell pays $70,000 dollars for an AUTOMATIC!?!?! WHAT THE HELL!!!!!

The older you get the less you want to shift. There's a reason why GM went away with the manual for the C8. Most people who could afford a new Vette are older folks and they preferred autos.
@@mrjjthor when I am no longer able to clutch and shift, I will either take a bicycle or I will walk; I've learned to drive on a manual, and I will always drive one; I'd rather walk everywhere than drive an automatic transmission vehicle of any kind ever again. And the Corvette chief engineer said it plainly in the C8 interview: the C8 didn't come with a manual transmission because no transmission manufacturer was interested in developing a transmission specifically for the C8 Corvette, which translated into plain English means: GM did not want to foot that bill either. And that's really shitty.
@@AnnatarTheMaia really? GM also claimed that the sales of Vette with manual transmission were so low that it wasn't worth the money invested into R&D in making another manual transmission which makes sense. Multiple car enthusiasts and journalists sites also repeated this. I'm all for manuals too and my C7Z is a manual and so were my previous sports cars but unfortunately most manual cars are dying.
@@TreadDepthChannel you mean losers who cannot or won't drive a manual transmission car, and don't have the balls to stand up to corporations by voting with their wallets. You're welcome.
Have a 1985 Volvo 740. Many reasons to have and keep one. A great ride and decent gas mileage. Dad purchased the car new.
2008 with 42k. I am a mom of 3 boys...I love her more than them....this car gives me no attitude and no trouble....them boys different story(still love em tho)!! Corvette lover for life❤
Allllrighty then
I have a 07 Z06 And it has absolutely NO rattle anywhere.
The fixed roof definitely helps
Finally have a softer ride ditching the Firestone run flats. Continental Extreme Contact sport 2 are as good as the sport cup. Over 107k mi and still strong like bull. If you do your homework you will find a well maintained C6 with records at a fair price.
I am a reasonable people. I love this car!
Why daily that car ? I love mine cause I drive it as a treat. I love my manual z06 3Lz and love the stage 3 areo amazing car
Finally a normal freaking guy😂
