Ahh love it! I get the dopamine just adding it to a wish list so helps my bank balance 🤣🤣 I’ve just gone and bought a few smaller patterns buuuttt there’s always room for one more haha sold and sold

Booktube does make a nice change! I don’t know what it is with flosstube, maybe it’s making and consuming videos makes it a bit tiresome 🤷‍♀️ but I see the amazing things that everyone does and I want to do that too and so the cycle continues haha. Ugh I love editing, it can be tedious at times but I can’t imagine having to start over again! It’s a totally personal thing what you want to share but I do watch a few people that leave their mistakes in which I really like, it gives the feeling that you’re talking to someone IRL. Might be worthwhile trying some time, I’d definitely love to see it ☺️

I could make a whole blooper video out of all the stupid stuff I’ve said / made weird noises / burst into song from the videos I’ve made so far 😂😂 thank you lovely 💖 I think instagram is a perfect place to put updates in the meantime!

Owl Forest threads are absolutely gorgeous but yep totally understand not ordering from them at the moment. It’s a hard decision as a consumer, their small businesses must be suffering although out of principle don’t want to support what’s happening

I loved how you recreated the wood effect using less strands of thread, already getting ideas for starting one I don’t own yet 😂 and having a LNS and 123 stitch on hand is so dangerous. Adding things to your basket but not checking out doesn’t quite hit the spot the same haha

Oh yes...the mess after filming is very real 😂 It takes ages to tidy up! So nice to see your projects and I was especially excited to see Gaia...she is looking awesome! But I really loved the dragon too...I can see why you are loving it so much; it's stunning 😍 And your new dragon pattern purchase is soooo pretty too! As someone who has done a HAED I think they are a very mixed bag. Some I love, some I can't see the appeal of and/or would actively dislike stitching, but that's the same with any designs. I'd be happy to share more thoughts with you if you would find it helpful.

@catkinandlillie tidying up is my most hated part cos I’ve already done the fun thing 😂😂 the dragons are too addictive, I think I may need to stitch them all! And Gaia is just so fun, seeing all her detail coming together is something special. And yes I would totally love your input on HAED, I think you’re one of the only people I’ve come across on flosstube that has a (fabulous) finish. I don’t see the appeal in a lot of them but as you say each to their own. I’d love to make a video discussing pros and cons at some point but I definitely need to mull my thoughts over before doing anything cos I feel it could cause a stir 😁

Ah good old decision paralysis! I’ve defaulted to cross stitch if I can’t choose what to do, which is nice but feels like I’m letting my other hobbies down. It’s so stupid I need to tell my brain to chill out and just focus on stitching 😂😂

Otherwise I’d be buying everything and finishing nothing 😂😂 and I know I can’t be the only one like that! It was stressful at times but it turned out really well in the end! Haha I love how we all have our lil quirks 💖 I think it can be cheap compared to other hobbies but totally appreciate it depends on individual circumstances. Although having alllll the pretty, shiny things definitely makes it expensive 😂😂

Think I’ve gone to the dark side with all the dark Aida I’ve been working on! I haven’t sewn in so long I’m surprised there’s been no incidents with my fingers yet haha. Sewing machines really do make it easier nudge nudge 😂😂😂 ooh I do love mixing sweet and salted from the cinema, need to do some taste tests on the supermarket ones! Thanks for watching 💖

Aww Cat thanks so much for watching! I loved your HAED too, you’ve definitely influenced me to do one at some point. Although I seem to be drawn larger projects so fitting it in may be a problem 😂😂 this was a nightmare to edit but a good learning curve and I figured out a much better way in my flip throughs to sync the audio. The low tech option is to do a clap at the start, align them there which can work pretty well!

Agree these would look so cute as little gifts. I get overwhelmed by all the different choices of fabric, colours and counts 😂😂 think I’ll stick with good old aida until I desperately want to stitch something with half or quarter stitches
