I’m thinking of applying early action to U of M this fall, but I’m a bit confused on a few things... do you have to apply to one of the seven undergrad schools or can you apply to U of M as a whole? & does my teacher need to send my letter of recommendation directly to my admissions counselor or should it be sent through the Common App? Would love to hear back from you :)
Hi Taylor, I am also applying to UofM this year. First, you can only apply to one of the undergraduate schools like LSA, Ross, or CoE. Unless you’re applying to Music, Theatre & Dance but I don’t know all the details about how that works. Second, if you ARE using common app, there is a section where you invite your counselor or teachers for the letter of recommendation by using their email. I don’t know how outside of the common app works (sorry). You can get a lot of informations from their websites. Also you could call them or go to one of their virtual information sessions(it helped me tons) I hope this was useful and not too late. I hope you get into the school you want to go to!
