If depressing things happen or if you don't feel affection & respect from others or you have lost all your important relationships, it is totally normal to feel a lack of motivation to do things. I thought I had depression, but then I moved to a rural area of a small town, bought a house and a small plot of land where I planted many kinds of trees and feel much better. I improved my cage. I had to step down my job, but it was also a plus, since I hated it and it got me burned out.

Psychiatry saved me and keeps me alive with bipolar disorder. I understand what the meds do and how my disorder works and how to keep healthy, I have at top notch psychiatrist and psychologist and they work together, everything they do makes sense and every med is fine tuned. I am a lucky guy, after all. I truly really doubt other professionals are like that, and as a future psychologist and the misinformation we have on the internet, this makes me ultra worried about what I'll have to deal with.

Completely honestly- I have much more respect for the "mud flood theory" than for the "ancient -aryans- aliens theory". 40:31 I've seen the Byzantine and english empire graph where femenko compares how long kings ruled and how similar they were making it not a coincidence. I pulled up how long they actually ruled for and it seemed true. But, femenko was just picking and conviently leaving out other kings. If a king ruled for 10 years on the byzantine side and another person ruled for 10 years on the english side, he'd put it on his graph. Then, if the next ruler on the english side ruled for 5 years, he would skip kings on the byzantine side until he could find a king that ruled close to that amount of time. I don't remember the specifics but that was how the graph was made.

Actually the "You're a (brain) adult with 25" is based on the stopping the studies at that point. Basically, they checked at different ages up to 25 and found that brains keep changing. Yea. Welcome to Neuroplasticity. Brains always change. as someone who has been in therapy since i was 12, got a bachelors in psychology, and is no getting a masters in social work, and used to work in a residential mental treatment center, i agree with everything u say here. mental health services are incredibly punitive and incredibly ableist. psychology and mental health are convenient avenues to control people who exist differently and whose productivity are either entirely not productive to society or at the moment not productive to society. i switched to social work because i dont want to be a therapist and i would rather work on trying to address the problematic ways society is set up.

Ive never heard anyone ever say that every is trans ive heard that many actors, musicians and politicians are, more and more people are noticing it this BS can't be hidden forever.

It's interesting how the wards are so different and so similar in different countries. So in my city wards are overpopulated so I had like 8 roommates and we weren't allowed to hang out in the room for the first half of the day. There were not a lot of spaces to hang out though except for the "smoking cage". It was spacious and with nice chairs and with the metal flowers but it still was literally a cage. So we smoked and talked all day long. It was exceptionally boring and stressful. I was in a kinda privileged position since I look normal no matter what so the doctors almost tried to get rid of me instead of trying to keep me there, but for other girls it was the opposite. The doctors said to them that if they discharged against doctors' counsel they wouldn't sign their discharge letter and they won't be able to receive psychiatric help in the future. Which is not true in my country. We have very strict laws about involuntary treatment, but you really have to know the law in order to not fell into this trap. Also they give you a copy of the law when you are brought in to the ward but most people are not in the condition to read it on their first day. Even I started to worry that when I will finally ask to be discharged they might stop me from leaving. Overall I actually liked the experience because it was exactly what I needed. No phone, no responsibility, 5 meals per day + a cake before bed. I felt like I was reduced to a kindergartener, and i enjoyed it, but I saw how distressing it was for everyone else. So my main complaint was the overwhelming boredom of this place but even with my very mild experience I was very disillusioned with the mental health system.

Children go through such changes, physical and emotional. Puberty blockers should be illegal because what a child goes through as a teen will likely be very different from how they perceive things in adulthood. Puberty blockers are child abuse. Many trans people face very human adolescent changes, like a need to fit in or adjustment issues. All adolescents feel awkard and uncomfortable. It goes with the territory. The healthy thing to do is to let them go through the struggles. It's like the analogy of the butterfly struggling to get out of it's chrysalis. If you help it by taking it out prematurely, it will die. It needs to strengthen and develop from the process of growing up and developing out of the chrysalis. Likewise, human adolescents need to go through struggles physically and emotionally to fully develop into the human they are meant to be. Teen angst and child development should not be a clinical problem. It's human and normal to a very large extent. Puberty blockers are an unnecessary science, and future generations will look down on it.
