      @@Fancy3D Oh, I think there are more components, cooling and sensors that help with controling the tempeature and secure the longevity of the components inside the machine, so it's not as simple as just heating an regular X1. If you wanna tinker, and add heating etc... The X1 could be the one for you. Just don't expect the same reliability as the X1E with it's tuned profiles for some materials. Never the less, Pre-heating the chamber does a lot for printing complex materials, no matter the printer :).

      Yeah, it's more expensive than a standard nozzle, but it also provides better extrusion reliability thanks to the design. And the change process is much easier than an old nozzle design for example, where you heat up, use a wrench and accidently break your wires etc. But yeah, it's a higher running cost for reliability and ease of operation.

    I own TWO of these printers.. one with over 300 hours now and the other with 260 hours.. both printers have performed BEAUTIFULLY! I have had ZERO issues OR break downs.. I bought the smooth build plates for my machines as well as I still use the original textured plates for PETG and TPU.. everything else I print on the smooth plates as adhesion is insanely good. The only small issues Iv had so far is when updating my machines to the latest firmware.. as I update them right when the update comes out and both times there was some issues I had to deal with until FlashForge fixed it.. so don’t update as soon as you get the message.. rather wait a week or so before updating the firmware when it asks you to and you should be all set there. I have printed just about every type of material out there with these printers, ABS, TPU, Nylon, PLA, ASA, Carbon fiber PLA + PETG, regular PETG, and even Silk.. this printer on the stock settings has printed every one of them with out issue!! With TPU I print on the standard PLA setting and I turn retraction down a bit.. prints perfect every time and super fast. For PLA the only setting I keep changed is the bed temp.. they have it set too low.. set it to 60c and you’ll be good. Best printers Iv ever owned and blows all my friends out of the water with reliability and print quality!

    Hur lyckas du mäta 25.49 med ett analogt skjutmått? :) Jag har varit sugen på en scanner länge och egentligen einstar men den kräver ganska mycket av din dator och dessutom måste den datorn vara en pc med ganska kraftigt nvidia-kort? Tänkte att mosse lite kunde vara perfekt för mig just för att hitta referensytor, avstånd, skruvhål etc. Hade du köpt en med den erfarenhet du har efter att ha använt den? Med vänlig hälsning,

    • @3DPrintTechDesign
      @3DPrintTechDesign Před 2 měsíci

      Bra ögonmått ;). Nä men som jag säger så litar jag inte 100% på det skjutmåttet... Jag har inte kört någon budget-scanner via mobil ännu. Tycker det verkar otroligt osmidigt och bara problem med Apple telefon. För många skanners behöver du absolut ett nvidia-kort och en PC, det är svårt att komma runt så fort du ska behandla datan. Då har jag åtminstone inte sett något som inte kräver PC. Moose lite är billig och superbra sätt att komma in i 3D-skanning. Den kommer vara svår på större och vissa ytor med lite detaljer på, men då får man vara kreativ och hitta sätt att låta skannern tracka. Noggrannheten gör den ändå OK för mycket hemma-pill för den som skal bygga och meka och behöver information in i ett CAD system. För skruvhål så hade jag skruvat i skruvar/3D-print jiggar för att få saker som sticker ut (och därmed enklare att tracka/mäta i efterhand). Men ja, den är så pass billig att jag köpt en om jag inte redan haft andra skanners :). Den är däremot inte fantastisk på att ge dig en ren, färdig-städad mesh. Men för mått, referensytor och det du beskriver så gör det egentligen ingenting. Jag tror många kommer önska sig något "större" med tiden, för att ta in större modeller. Men då kommer de troligtvis också behöva betala mer, eller bara få lägre upplösning på delarna, då är det fint att "ha kvar" sin Moose/Moose lite för de små projekten.

      @ricardrinaldo4791 Před 2 měsíci

      @@3DPrintTechDesign tack för ditt svar. Om jag inte läser fel så ska Moose fungera på mac också så det är ju bra. Det är inte så att du har en enklare modell som du kan dela. Hade varit intressant att få upp den i fusion och se hur det ser ut.

It’s almost harder for you the viewer to click an affiliate link than it is to google the product anyway :). By being upfront and honest about the links and that they allow me to buy products to review, So you’re not only seeing what companies send out, we achieve better coverage. You compared that to the "Moose Lite" when the Ferret SE's accuracy is only "Up to 0.1mm" compared to the Moose's set accuracy of "0.05mm @ 0.10mm Resolution"... and amazon has the Ferret SE Priced @ $319 compared to the pre order sale of Moose Lite @ $255 (prices vary with discount codes.) These 2 items are in different categories my friend.. not even comparable in software either.

    looks interesting, I'm looking for a cheap 3D scanner to have a reference model from which I'd make a functional part in CAD

    I have yet to see a 3d scanner that is worth the high cost of them.

      try KIRI. It's an inexpensive subscription & uses your phone camera. First scan very clear with good instructions & editing features. I tried the Moose lite. Very garbled image, poor instructions & a hassle. Website grammar is atrocious. An uphill learning curve, too. They think everyone is adept and lightning fast like they are; and other techies.

    Needs more room, and multiple color. Be great if they had the option

    would love to see how this stacks vs the front facing lidar on the iPhones (true depth). Dope video!

    so no one has had luck with the scanning of faces/people or pets? I am in the market for one- but every review I watch says these budget ones arent great for that?

    Why does the live view of the scanned object look pretty good but the final output is so messy?

    • @3DPrintTechDesign
      @3DPrintTechDesign Před 3 měsíci

      The live view is just sparse data, it often looks very blurry but helps you see what’s been covered. Since it’s 3D-data, the filtration of the raw data can then transform it to much more detailed (but also sometimes noisier) data.

    • @dirkwalther2354
      @dirkwalther2354 Před 3 měsíci

      Sie verwechseln da wahrscheinlich etwas; das "live view" besteht überwiegend aus einem Bild, nicht aus "3D-Daten".

    Do not buy this scanner, the information provided by the manufacturer to register can no longer be executed, there are no drivers for this scanner because it is discontinued. It is a scam that they do not provide support

    would you recomend the AD5MP or the AD5M more

    • @3DPrintTechDesign

      If you just print PLA and want to save money, the adv5 is superb! But the 5M pro isn’t much more expensive and a great option!

    ZBrush is the best for cleaning scans and making nice edge loops using Retypologiese.

    $7000US…. 😢 I’ve been eying out the Einstar for a good year… I’m hoping there’s a jump in 3d scanning tech, so prices of the old kit comes down. It’s got too be close now. 🤨

    • @3DPrintTechDesign
      @3DPrintTechDesign Před 3 měsíci

      Yeah there is still a gap between what Einstar and the others (Revopoint / 3Dmakerpro) can offer and what EinScan Pro, Artec EVA etc. offers at a higher price rate. I would love to see Shining3D release something around $2-4000 that is similar to their Pro 2X. It would make a dent in the market.
