The same way tall smoke stacks must have spiraling in their exterior design to stop movement from the wind, we recommend twisting support lines, which in no-stretch Dyneema's case is somewhat flat. This twist breaks up the rhythm of how wind passes around the lines and lowers the vibration from all the support lines resonating through the standoff supports and into the hollow carbon fiber pole, which can be amplified into a boat's top or tower structure like a stringed musical instrument. These are our XTS21's (Super Titanium Spreader Supported 21ft) and have been tensioned at the standoffs to 30+ lbs.
