Blue Raspberry: My Favorite Flavour
Technically, Blue Raspberry flavour is based off of blackcap raspberries, so the thumbnail is not lying. They actually grow in the wild where I live, and I suppose they faintly taste like the highly artificial blue raspberry flavour. Google is telling me that I am spelling flavour wrong, and it is clearly incorrect.

I was playing a game of DRG, I and a friend were on the dance floor and this happened. It was amusing, and I spent over an hour trying to make really awful ai tts for this. I think my crude sentence mixing was fine for 1 in the morning. In any case, I have been laughing at it for the past five minutes

Filming this one was very interesting, I think it came out fairly well. Editing was chaotic though, that may be a better word to describe filming as well. Ah well, what can you do. @@SamsSideshow Those of us who love FTL have to stick together. After all...graphically, FTL was "out of date " 20 years before it was released. There's no excuse for it ever fading into obscurity. It is truly a timeless game.
It may have been inspired by Dragon Ball's King Piccolo Daemon. This villain legitimized crime and possessed telepathic powers. Among the Namekians, the name "Neil" comes from the snail.

Kestrel A is one hell of a great ship, easily A tier. EXCELLENT weaponry and very well rounded starting set up. Also understanding how Kestrel A works is super easy for beginners as it is a gunship which everyone seems to understand intuitively, you go pew pew enemy goes kaboom. It is not the flashiest ship that's all.
Unless I've been playing way too much Multiverse I'm pretty sure humans have a canon home world too, Earth At least I'm pretty sure it shows up

I'll hold onto and collect chain bursts just in the hopes I eventually get 2 or more of them It's worth even just having it sit in cargo But that's my obsession ig

Hearing someone talk about playing a game like FTL "growing up" (the way I would about something like Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Stronghold) makes me feel *old.* :P
My favourite tactic in the entire game is doing boarding with Rock B. Imagine fighting two 150HP enemies in a room that's burning. Heavily recommended. Also... oh god, SS13 references. The flashbacks

Slugs are my favorite species and the Ariolimax is my favorite ship in the game. It's very adaptable to just about every threat you can encounter.

Hey, enjoying your FTL content! For the Shivan(my favourite rockmen ship), one very silly way to be able to vent out your oxygen is to purposefully leave a hull breach in your ship, systemless room preferably. You’ll still need to pay for the doors to have control of it however, so it’s incredibly niche at best. As for firebombing your own ship, the only best case scenario I can think of is to sow chaos to enemies during enemy teleporter breach events where ship combat and maintaining systems isn’t a high priority issue, even then it’s likely better to just punch them to death. Hope to see more FTL content, subbed because funny

I always hire at lest one slug, if only for the blue options and to have them be the pilot as since they can't be mind controlled, the ship suddenly won't lose dodge cause the enemy mind controled the pilot
I always prefer rockman pilots. The extra health is great for dealing with boarders and weapons that get past your shields; the fire immunity is great for quickly dealing with cockpit fires; and the slower movement speed doesn’t matter as much since you shouldn’t be moving the pilot until you’re healing them outside of fights.

Actually slugs are more common than lanis because lanis are ONLY in abandoned sectors while slugs can be found in slug sectors along with uncharted nebulas and zoltan sectors and even the lanis's own sector, meaning that slugs are more common. Also you might think slugs sectors are more rare because I'm assuming you avoid uncharted nebulas like the plague, thus causing you to avoid all nebula sectors and giving a bias to abandon sector as opposed to slug sectors
I actually swoop into uncharted nebulas whenever I get the chance, a slower rebel advance means more scrap. I know slugs are more common than the lanius in a technical sense, but I still somehow see them less

That is true!
True, but for the systems, it’d only be like a 2-3% chance difference for a handful of volleys and a slight shield recharge difference in that timeframe. Once they max out it doesn’t even matter. It could matter a little for the boarding one… could mean keeping them alive through a fight they would’ve lost. But at the same time, the mind control immunity will definitely save you from a 1v3 and 1v2 if the enemy has mind control.

Slugs are also my favorite race in FTL really enjoy the thought of giant human size snails manning the weapons with their slimy little hands :)

Starting without a medical system does give it the notable distinction of being the only ship that can install 4 auxilliary systems (Teleporter + any 3 of Cloaking, Hacking, Mind Control, or Drones). If you do that it does mean not buying a Medbay or Clonebay the entire game, but if you find a reconstructive teleport augment it can make you very strong
You know, that’s a great point. Theoretically it’s sound, but I wonder if anyone was crazy enough to actually pull this off… if so, I would have to commend them…
Technically the Stealth ships can do that too. You know, provided you're okay with not having shields. But they can do it!

Slugs are the most well written enemies in this game. They will always you to trick the player, be it "free repairs", " Open stores", "our 02 is broken" And so many more different shenanigans Not to mention at the zoltan border police, they're sorta like mob bosses able to negotiate and communicate deals telepathically as either a deterrent or a protection for the other Alien. I think the only creature they can't talk to are Lanius' those are just weirdos
Oh yeah! Not to mention, for most slug events there is a super low chance that they are actually telling the truth, and you get a high reward for trusting them! They really are the best

Slugs are objectively the best species in FTL, at least until you need someone to put 2 fires out, and repair 3 systems asap.
Believe it or not Never been a huge fan of engi Just like... Don't let the enemy ship damage you in the first place Ez Easier said than done, sure But like, if your run is to the point where engi become good, you have other problems to deal with

@@useraccount333 yeah you need to be good with it. I can't always make this work. Like with a halberd beam instead of hitting normally like 4-5 rooms you could hit like 6-7 depends on the enemy ship layout
