The Rarity of One man, using that thing between his ears for something other than keeping his hat out of his eyes, and with the cajones to not live life fearing every damn thing that might could happen is THE most illuminating reality of American society. One man figures out how to accomplish a three man job by himself... and of course, all those who couldn't even conceive of such a thing will implore him to Stop! Out on the ranges there are two old , basic concepts. 1. If a man is going to ask for help, he shouldn't start out in the first place. 2. Bow your head, grit your teeth, pull your hat down tight... and Ride into the wind. THIS is where we separate the Cowboys from the men. Well done old man. Show the weaker sorts how it's Done!

Buy several rachet straps on sale from Home Depot, Lowes or harbor freight. Secure one end at the top plate & streach diagonal down to the bottom plate & secure. Then secure at every vertical stud with staples, & do that from both ends to make an X on all four walls. The straps will not affect any sheathing installed later, but will minimize any racking due to wind before you put sheathing. One good wind gust can (will) create problems. (Been there, done that.) If you have enough diagonal braces for each wall, you'll be safe, but you saw how effective even a mild gust did with rafters. I am 81, building "tiny house" in Missouri Ozarks (1,200 SF) With/for daughter. Over 85% done in 4-1/2 years. She should be able to move in by winter. I love your project progress. It's wonderful to not have the pressure of necessity & accomplish something every day & realize what you can't get done today, you can do tomorrow. Keep up the good work while you're still in the "prime of your life". 🤔🤗
