Burlington is my hometown! It's a lovely, friendly place with a relaxed atmosphere. While Church St and the Waterfront boardwalks are both beautiful, I would say that Pine Street has become the heart of the local culture. Not as many tourists venture down there, but it is filled with craft breweries, cafes, art shops, boutiques, and has the vibe of a constant outdoor farmers and makers marketplace. Plus, there's Oakledge Park just off of Pine Street with a beach and stunning waterfront views.

charlotte is pronounced like shar-lot, don't confuse it with that city in north carolina. just teasing but love seeing videos about my home state and especially home town of charlotte

Charlotte, VT is not pronounced like the girl's name Charlotte. It is pronounced with emphasis on the last syllable as in CHAR-LOT. Also, Vermont in general is full of socialists and other left wing nutcases and is one of the most highly taxed states in the country. I lived there for two years and couldn't wait to leave. Not to mention the fact that the idiot voters in VT gave us the MARXIST gadfly BERNIE SANDERS, a man who was on welfare until he became mayor of Burlington.
