    This is so cute and a great way to empty one’s sweet pantry or baking pantry. How would you create a Fuesta or Mexican themed chocolate charcuterie. So far I’m gninkimg a cinnamon sugar so guests can roll the chocolate item in the cinam9n sugar. Mini churros woukd be cool but I need more ideas. Please help :)

    It looks really good. For me stew is all about the vegetables. I use bell peppers, diced and cut up roma tomatoes, green beans and corn in mine. Then I thicken it with tomato paste. I also use a larger cut on some of my veggies ( onions, peppers, celery)

    Try something different from my German grandma add a small green pepper, along with the onion and celery, also use less onion. Everything else is great, and cook the celery and other ingredients until soft. You will like the difference.

      Because the cake companies have decreased the amount of quantity that is in the mixes so to get the consistency right, you need to add a little flour.

    I just tried this and using organic flour (not gf) and cane sugar, but everything else the same. The dough did not combine well, ideas?

      Add the flour slowly, I usually add half the flour, mix it really well and then add flour slowly until the dough comes away from the sides of the bowl or is just a little tacky.

      You can definitly add less broth. It cooks for a while so be sure there is enough liquid so it doesn't scortch on the bottom. The carrots are big so they will hold their shape while the meat cooks until it's tender.

      You can cook it for another 20-3- min if needed. The pre-browning before it is all combined helps break the meat down for sure. Continue to cook until your meat is fall-apart tender. Best wishes!
