Want to *beef up* your English skills? Native English speakers love to talk about food and to use food images to express ideas. This includes using phrasal verbs where the verb is from food, eating, or cooking. But the meaning of the phrasal verb in total often doesn’t have to do with food at all. He was at the end of his tether. His nerves were stretched to breaking point, and his anger finally boiled over. It was an egregious article that became the straw that broke the camel's back. ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー ●to boil down to CZcamsrs vs comedians is a hot-button issue right now. Opinions are divided on whether CZcamsrs are more entertaining than comedians.
