do you recommend these before every game?
This is really good but as a coach one thing I would say is with baseball you sit back alot in hitting however in cricket due to the fact that the ball can bounce at different lengths you want to have your head forward more often than not... for my power hitting I like to call it momentum hitting...so everything goes into the ball rather than full rotation hit as we are alot less static due to the wide range of deliveries

"Be an athlete first" type advice was some advice a couple of my kid's coaches tried to tell me. I acknowledged it, but stayed on weighted balls. Made it through no injuries but certainly saw that plateau. Now at 14 he works out a lot more, does less weighted, more long toss, better diet and all around performs better. When he was young - it was never the heavier balls - mostly the light ones used, there was upside to it for sure, but to your point - be an athlete first and then add on.

Swinging into a decelerating front leg. D1 softball players and they still don't know how to swing a bat. their mindset and fundamentals are all wrong. It's no wonder most of these girls come up to bat and never hit. These coaches still haven't figured it out. Very few often do. these are corporate coaches. They just follow a book, and do what they are told.
A REAL athlete that truly strives to achieve their greatest potential will reach out to a good coach for in and off camp strength and conditioning.

Are we just gonna ignore the facts that in all these videos that they make,”Baseball team Vs Softball Team” videos like that the baseball players are pitching like softball which they have never done before maybe then in there but no experience if it was baseball players pitch like baseball and softball pitchers pitch the same as they usually I do not want to start a fight I just wanted to say that.

You nailed it. Really, weight training is the EASY part, your diet is the HARD part. I would say its really 20% workout and 80% Diet. You are what you eat. And, for some Athletes, its really hard to eat 35/4500 clean calories a day. Nutrition is #1, period.
