No not on the panels. 🙂‍↕️ looks like hardned panels but the wiring threads out on the edge of the panels can't handle weight on the panels.

Thank you for sharing some of the realities of van life! My husband and I are seriously considering getting into it so it’s great to see some of the real struggles that can turn up. During COVID in 2020 we both lost our jobs and left our rental house and moved into an RV camper for 6 weeks while we looked for a new house and jobs. That was an actually really fun experience… even if it was crazy. Hopping from park to park, emptying the waste water, etc. I feel like that was something like living on the road and I’d love to do it again!

I did van life for a few years and you’re 100% correct on the high highs and low low . that being said a Rig like yours is very expensive to maintain and putting a lot of miles on it is very stressful. I always found when I took my van on long road trips. I would have this anxiety about if something breaks and that has happened before. that being said that’s why a lot of people wait for retirement to do this sort of thing because you have a big nest egg 🥚 and you’re gonna need that nest egg 🍳 for repairs and such that come out of freaking nowhere literally all the time. I would just tell you on the days that it’s stressful like this video just know that you’re living a counterculture lifestyle and that’s hard to do in a world that’s trying so hard to make you conform and be a good wage slave. Your very existence is an act of defiance. I also had a sweet tent ⛺️ set up for days when the van needed repairs and I had a few spots. I would stay while that was happening . You may want to invest in some camping gear cause at least then you have a landing pad for a while when you gotta leave your van .
